Genuine Ostrich Dealer case

Garth Bair

Maker of OnQcases
I had the honor of creating this 12 X 24 genuine ostrich dealer case for Cliff Watkins. Cliff used the case to take and display his amazing cue collection at the ICCS in Santa Fe this past weekend. The inlay design is taken from his prized Indian rug and is in keeping with the theme of this years ICCS. In addition to my case, Cliff had an amazing Mattcase envelop case with engraving also matching the Indian rug on display along with an equally amazing custom cue created by Bill Schick using the same inlays. A great presentation by Cliff. I went to the show. There wasnt one inferior cue or case dispaly in attendance. The ICCS was a great show.

That is a beautiful case. I really like the way you color coded the butt and matching shafts slots.

Wow Garth, not bad for an old guy! Now get your butt to work on something else

Here it is with the cue, the rug, and the matching Matcase - quite a foursome.

I inspected this case from top to bottom and my only critique would be that you need two people to carry when it's loaded. But that is my critique on all big dealer cases like this - mine included. The wide strap and pad made it a lot easier to handle though. A really great piece overall.

Garth, you do fantastic work.

How come you didn't introduce yourself to me? :-)

Nice Case Garth, as always.
I see you changed the Feet's:grin:looks Cool.
My Matching Cues are not done yet,I have not forget you:wink:
Yeah John are right, when the Case is full you need a Gorilla for handling:eek::grin:
Thanks for share the Pics and Cliffy is a lucky Dog:grin-square:

Thanks Garth for such a nice case, I know it was truly a labor of love and frustration (getting those skins to yield enough quills)as well. Good to see you in Santa Fe, sorry I was not around as much as I would have liked. Hade the Mrs. to keep entertained.........LOL You know how that goes

Another gorgeous case, Garth! I know you did a LOT of work to make this one just perfect for Cliff.

Anyone that hasn't had the opportunity to own one of Garth's OnQ cases should really give it some thought. You get a rock solid case with awesome workmanship that can be personally tailored to your needs for less than the cost of many "standard cases". The dealer cases are really amazing and will take quite a beating, as evidenced by this thread:

The dealer cases also have those cool color coded tubes, which are really convenient when you have a lot of cues to keep straight!

Garth's communication is outstanding, and he stands behind his work long after it has left his shop. He still makes his cases by himself and takes great pride in his work.

Keep up the good work, Garth!

Steve

Garth,

I immediately fell in love with your case at the show that you completed for Cliffy. It is a magnificent case, and I also very much like the color coded interiors.

We should connect in the near future about a case!

Take care,

Will Prout

The best way to store cues in my opinion....I have two of these and want a third.

Beautiful work once again, Garth and well done Cliffy.

Si>>>>>>>>>wouldn't mind that rug either.
