NO but i said in another thread that checks should now be arriving so if anyone gets one for sure, let's get it posted asap and relieve some of the tension.

i believe i should get mine by thursday......

Not sure about payments but if you continue to post the kind of stupifyingly inane drivel you have churned out in the last week or so it's a fair bet that most readers of the IPT forums would certainly expect that you will "get yours" very soon, one way or another:)

Someone told me Ike Runnels was paid. Can't verify yet.

He is from the Chicago area I think so that would make sense. Id like hear a confirmation or word that others have recieved their checks as well.

I just spoke to a player that left the Vegas event early in the week. They said that it took 3 weeks for his Vegas check to arrive...

He also said (hearsay twice removed) that he spoke to one of the players yesterday that was able to get through to Lindsay and she told him that the checks should go out today.

They had 9 days to get the checks to Reno and now it's taken them 9 more days to get them mailed out. Providing that was the truth. I'll believe it when I see it.

Hah ha.. I got a feeling all the people getting their checks will RUSH to the bank to get them cashed as soon as possible. Regardless of whether or not they need the money....

I know I would be.....

Everyone should rush to the bank after any pool tournament. I hung out a bit with one World Champion at one of the US Opens- He stayed in town an extra day so that he could rush to Barry's bank first thing on Monday morning and cash that check. It's just the smart thing to do.

Eydie spoke to Ike this afternoon and he told her that he did not recieve his check today.

What I found surprising, is the Casino in Reno should of made it mandatory for the IPT to have the cash on hand, they were at a casino right? If I was the owner of that Casino I would of had some heads roll if the money wasn't on hand for the players to gamble, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I spoke to two too! :p One said he'll reserve getting upset about it until the Open. If he's not paid by then, then he'll be mad. The only thing the other one would say is "this is all bizarre".

At the VERY LEAST, an announcement of some kind should've been made as to what the plan was and when the players could expect to get their check. They should've sent it out to the player email list, posted it on their website, or Deno could've posted it here. They've made themselves look bad enough as it is. Not making an announcement, and not apologizing to the players for this is simply unprofessional in every way.

email from Deno

Received a response from Deno (or someone using his Email address) last evening about 10:35. As a requestor sponsoring Sam Monday in the Vegas event I have been due $1100.Sam got his check (about two weeks after the event for $9000). One thousand was still and is still owed me plus the $100 discount I should have received for sponsoring Sam in the Jillians qualifier here in Raleigh.

I Emailed Deno after the Reno event and he has responded within 5 days. Can u emagine the Mail this guy must be getting. He stated that player sponsorships are being reconciled and my check should be processed soon. No specific date was mentioned. Three months since the tourney in Vegas, and still no monies. However, at least we are in communication, a sign of some progress.

I hope and pray that all parties are paid in full for all IPT events both past and hopefully in the future.

I got pretty much the same reaction. Both depressed and pretty much speechless.
