Getting Sick Of Joe Rogan On Here!

Did I miss something here?!?!?! I'm on this forum quite a lot and have no idea why this guy is blasting Joe. I can't remember the last time Joe posted...let alone posting anything that could be construed as inflammatory.

EDIT: I see that Joe posted here last night and his posts didn't seem to be anything but positive to me. His previous postings were on 9-17-07, so I can't say he's flooding the forum with posts. LOL

Hey Joe, sometimes you come off like a real poser, but other than that I like your commentating because you're well versed and informed, and you've never had a mediocre view of where the UFC was going, and I respect that. It's much better for the sport. Having been with the UFC for so long, and having seen how it's woven itself into popular culture and has now become a legitimate sport, what do you think pool needs to do to become more of a mainstream sport? Obviously pool players are extremely talented, but dont make a living doing it. Coming from someone who knows the structure and organization of a sport that has come into it's own (that sounds odd), I'd like to hear from you what you think pool needs to do to gain the same type of viewership and following, so that the events and bring more revenue and acclaim to the players. I'd like to know what type of speed you shoot too. You should come to Arizona and get slapped around the table.
You bash him and then you want him to be your buddy and answer all your questions?

I got an ideal how pool might make it to the main stream.

get people like yourself off pool forums and out of the pool rooms.

1 down 10,000 to go. but this will make progress.

Good thought, but I bet Joe has plenty of $$$ if he felt so inclined.
Oh I know that...lol, I delivered/setup/recovered Joe's Diamond ProAm 9ft table, but how much would it be worth to see someone with a big mouth pulling their OWN head out of their OWN ass???? "Look out folks....there's going to be a loud popping sound as he pulls his own head out of his own assssss!!!!!!!! LMAO

What the hell, you're bashing the guy but you're asking a serious question? I hope that was just a poorly executed joke, otherwise you're an idiot.

No...it's obviously the former. But more likely it's both.

If his intent really was to bash the guy, you think he would have more meat and ammo in his post rather than asking a serious pool-related question?

Just shows the importance of accurate thread titles. ;)

I wasn't kidding. Maybe I spend too much time playing pool.

No such thing sgm, no such thing. And you're in good company (imo :) ), I wouldn't know Joe Rogan if he crawled up and bit my ankle.

Why don't you come to Michigan and play me??

I did not even realize he was on here. I think he is great on the UFC. May have some great input that may help pool.

In response to the actual questions to Joe though. I really do not see pool ever really making into main stream money. Without big sponsors and tv popularity, it just is not realistic. I tell people that I watch a lot of pool on tv, and they look at me like I have 2 heads. Most ask how I stay awake watching pool.

Pool really needs an angle to break in and get people interested. It needs something more than just the game. I would really love to see something along the lines of the ultimate fighter, where up and coming pool players were brought on a reality show and tutored by some of the best players in the world. They would of course then play each other until one was left. A show like that would help create suspense, and an interest in the players. Having the general public actually learn things about the game while watching may prompt them to go and try them on a table. Just a thought.

Of course I do agree that the title was in poor taste.

Why don't you quit being such a dickhead and go troll around on some other forum, as far as I'm concerned Joe kicks ass

What?

Are you insulting him or asking him questions? Make up your mind. If you're insulting him then there is no place on this board for you. We need a lot more people like Joe if pool is ever going to be a mainstream sport.

Get a life, troll.
