Ginky's good ol' ~T~

I have now idea Dude ... but he wont get back this one LOL :grin-square:

Thanks Mate ... What you mean with
"How many Tascarellas does that make for you?"

Berny

Lol thats true .. I was that cue when he was playing with it this Summer..

Yeah ..was also my first Thought, but it's not that easy .. the Buttcap construction was changed by Pete .. they are different now :sorry:

I didn't think about that, I see the difference now. Oh well, it's still an outstanding cue & one I'd love to own. That brown phenolic Pete used is my favorite, it's the perfect color. :love2:

Sweet cue, Berny....bet it hits like a hammer !!

Thanks Sean ... that T is "Dangerous" :grin-square:

Enjoy your new $

Berny

Absolutely beautiful cue Berny!

Thanks my Friend :smile-square:

These Tasc's are killing me! Not only the wrapless - although I love those as well - but especially those with a nice smooth leather wrap or Cortland... I must get one of these Hoppe Tascarellas sooner or later they look so perfect it's unfair.

Congratulations Berny for another magnificent pick-up!

Here's a couple of before pics , I really prefer bumperless cues as well, but the bumper made it much more practical for actually playing with and I think the way Pete recessed the bumper turned out great. These pics were taken in 3/08.

Well, if you don't want it now, Berny....you know where I am. Cash here :)

I think its better with the bumper. Agreed its not in-keeping with the classic Hoppe style but the bumper has added a safety element. I don't want to shoot with a cue with no bumper....I would be worried sick about damaging it.

Well, since no one here likes the bumper, I'll begrudgingly take it off your hands....

Seriously though...... That cue is gorgeous.

Enjoy it!!

If that's not a kick in the nuts, I don't know what is. :frown:

When I had my bumperless Tasc hoppe (old brown phenolic) refinished by Pete I talked to him about putting a bumper on mine as well. He told me there is no need for it as you can slam it into the concrete and it would do absolutely no harm to the cue. That old phenolic is very tough. Not that I would EVER do that but it made sense so I don't worry about it. It survived the expo last year just fine. Then again, having that bumper on my cue as well would definately make me feel a bit more comfortable using it as my daily player.

But, to each his own. Berny's Tasc pictured here was done very tastefully as expected. After seeing this I might give Pete a call despite what he said lol.

Well, like I said above, when I had mine refinished last year I asked him about putting a bumper on it. He basically told the old brown phenolic is very strong and a bumper is not needed. But I like the way yours came out.
