Most people understand this. The words bigot, transphobe etc have been thrown around so much that they have become diluted. Its this new victim culture we are living in, and people, mostly the left, use it to try and win arguments. Its actually ruining educational debate at academic settings. Its a lot easier to just call someone a bigot than to break down their argument and win a debate based on facts. This author wrote a book about it and explains it perfectly.

I agree about fair competition. It’s a valid concern and I’ve not suggested that women are beneath anyone else.

Your solution comes at the discretion of the tournament director. Not trans people.

Yet your problem seems to be fixated on trans people who you think are demanding you bend a knee rather than the tournament director who actually bended the knee on their own terms.

All I’m suggesting is that you point a finger at the right people.

I’ll also add that attacking people by labeling them as “mentally deficient” is the exact kind of hate filled rhetoric that accomplishes nothing.

I’m kind of torn on it because while I completely disagree with trans men Playing women’s sports I’m not sure how testosterone helps you play pool better but as long as females have events that men can’t play in in pool I guess they get their own space.

I am of the beleif that women can do anything that a man can do and do it equally.

Now the problem that i have if i labeled a tournament a "Mens" tournament every feminist is going to start a shit storm, But how is it okay for their to be a "womens" tournament. Beats the crap out of me.

I definately don't condone this trans bullshit. Personally i think something is mentally wrong with these indivuals, but they are forcing this crap on us. I miss the days when people were ridiculed because of this behavior. But times are changing. Now everyone has feeling even assholes like me.

Now back on to pool. Do i beleive that the best women pool players can compete with the best men players HELL NO. I am definatley not the best player, but i did play Karen Korr in her prime and come out ahead.

There was a situation at the APA nationals about a decade ago, I had made a thread about it then. A player in the Women's team event ended up being a man, Norma Posey was Norman Posey. He was kicked out of the tournament.
I did a bit of digging, the way it works is you can't have a Men's tournament, or a woman's, without having the equivalent for the other. If you had a men's tournament and no woman's a lady could play in your event.
The only way to legally have a tournament without accepting any of this is to have an invitational. You can then pick and choose who can play.

Pool seems like it’s ripe for this controversy. The male biological advantage is not as clear as say, swimming, but the data shows a clear performance gap, even if it’s less than other sports.

Do you know that they actively invited trans people to play...? More likely they didn't dawn on them to make a rule to prevent a trans person from playing.

Lets assume for a moment that they had the fore sight to know that a trans person would potential attempt to enter the tournament. If the restrictions were posted on AZB in a thread about this trans person not being allowed to compete. What is the likely hood that you would be defending the TD and not labeling them a transphobic (sp?)

Allison Fisher is stealing a few racks vs. Filler if they're playing 1,000 racks. It's clear that there is a difference, but it's not "as clear" as other sports.

There is a woman on the top 100 Fargo list in pool, but the nations 53,000th ranked basked basketball player is some high school junior who would destroy any WNBA player no questions asked.

Again, the word "As" has a meaning in the English language and I suggest you look it up. It is clear that a male advantage shows up in pool, but it's not "as clear" as in other sports.

As a more clear and direct reference, the US under 15-men's soccer team has no problem dispatching the US adult women's team. However, there is no evidence of U-15's in pool "easily" dispatching adult female players.

Look at what you’re getting in the above post.

Right out of the gate he characterizes trans people as violent activists who will engage in 1 of 6 things listed. Including physical assault, arson and murder. All which is a fantasy in his head because he needs a strawman to justify the prejudice and hatred.

Then he characterizes trans people as mass murders who can kill and be protected by the government. Just nonsense.
