This is all a bunch of BS! I have bought tips from Marcus a few times, and I had a small problem come up, and I knew it WAS NOT his fault. I knew it, and he knew it, but he still MADE IT RIGHT! I didnt ask for any replacement tips, I paid for them, and lets be clear here, there is nowhere else you can buy these tips for this price, nowhere. So even if you have to order them twice, you are still saving money. Marcus is one helluva guy that will do the right thing 100% of the time, and you bringing this issue to the public is bad form. I will never doubt that Fast_N_Loose will take care of his customers, Ive gotta go now........gotta order more tips! Keep up the good work Marcus.

hey marcus.

Out of the thousands of tips you have sold, how many times has this happened? It is a cost of doing business imo. In this case the fact that he started a thread before working something out with you just cost him anymore business with an outstanding person such as yourself and becuase of his thread i would be hesitant to do any business with him myself. However, i would not hesitate for a second to buy or sell anything with you. Your reputation is rock solid.

Bval

it's happened twice. The other time was with snipershot, and he was more than happy with how it was handled.

I know i'm stubborn, but he chose not to pay for insurance, not me.

When i ship a cue, i put insurance on it. But with as cheap as i sell these, i can't cover priority with insurance.

Thanks for the kind words.

joe,

thanks for the kind words. I was going to do the same for this buyer, but he escalated to this thread before trying to resolve it privately.

i'll cover half the loss.......

either i'll send 2 medium wizards when i have them back in stock, or two hards now.

Or

i'll refund half of your payment.

Marcus if you need to be covered on the Wizard mediums I have them and will send them out for you to him.

I would refund his money and say get your tips from some other person. And I would only sell the tips after this to be ship out with Insurance. In the long run it will just cost the buyers more money and the seller alot less headaces. I dont think if I was the buyer in this deal that I would have posted it on here. After all the seller said he would work with him.

Insurance

The way I have always understood it was that shipping insurance is for possible damage in shipment. You must have the damaged item to claim insurance. Delivery confirmation is to confirm delivery.

i will be making several changes to the way the tips are sold.

I was trying to help az out, with a great tip for an unbeatable price, and this is what i get for it.

I do not see how you have got anything bad out of it accept maybe a few lost tips. Anything else you get or do not get out of this thread will be your own doing by your own posts. this is all JMO but I continually see sellers damage their own reputation (not pointing at you) by making more than one response to threads like this.

Especially with your reputation as a seller.

i've offered to make it right, and troy has offered to help.

The issue will be resolved, and i've learned my lesson.

i dont think marcus should have to pay for the tips IF he can prove he shipped them. if the buyer chose not to take insurance then it's his fault and he doesnt get reimbursed. u cant make the argument that insurance is for the sender. he offered it as an option to cover the tips in cases like this and the buyer knowingly refused it. it's stupid to now use the "sender should be responsible for insurance" excuse if the buyer knew what it was for and declined it.

however, i also think the seller has the responsibility to prove he shipped it. i dont doubt that marcus shipped it but there still has to be some sort of proof. putting insurance on the package and sending it with a tracking number or delivery confirmation are two different things so if the seller can prove he shipped it then he shouldnt have to cover anything.

no proof, other than my word.

I have to take the buyers word that they didn't arrive, so my word should be good enough that they were sent. I'm not saying that i don't believe punchout, i'm just making a point.

punchout will be getting 4 replacement tips, once he verifies his address.

i didnt start this thread so single anyone out for the record. i was thinking to myself, what would i do as the seller.....and i didnt have an answer. so i thought i would let AZB decide.

FAST-N-LOOSE is one of the if not the most respected seller on these forums. i did not do this to stir up crap. i did it because it was a weird situation and wanted feedback from the community. period.

i appreciate that.

Verify your adress that i pm'd you, and you will be getting 4 new tips (thanks to koinkid for hooking me up)

I don't think it's Marcus responsibilities to cover the loss of the tips...he offered to the buyer the insurance which buyer declined and trying to save some $$$ for the shipping. If the Seller did not offer the insurance then it will be the Seller responsibility to cover all the loss...Marcus is kind and generous enough to cover the 2 out 4 tips from his own pocket and i think the buyer should be appreciated on Marcus offer...what the seller is saying that how would he know if the buyer did not received the tips? he has no proof at all that the tips are received. seller is just trying to cover his side...he is right if all the buyer agreed with no insurance and report that the tips hasn't arrive and marcus cover everything then he has no business to run anymore. just my .02 cents...
