Well everyone - I had the pleasure of getting my butt kicked by out very own AzHousePro on Friday night in the 9 and under 9ball tourney at Alexander's. I was playing really well and won my first three matches. I ran into Mike and he put me in the losers side (5-3). I worked my way through to get back to the finals of the losers side (one match I was down hill to 0 and came back and won) and who did I run into but Mike again. Yet again he beat me and put me out of the tourney in 3rd place (5-2). It was truly a pleasure to meet Mike in person finally. Especially after I have spent so much time on his site trying to get through my work day. He couldn't be a nicer guy but that doesn't mean I am won't be gunning for him next time. :)

sounds viscious Brady, I hate getting put in the losers bracket and then put out by the same guy

Yeah Jake, I beat everybody but him that night. He just had my number. It would have been worse if he was a jerk but he is a super nice guy. I don't mind losing to nice people so much. That I can handle. It's losing to jerks that gets me upset.

I think you should both be ashamed! Playing in the nine and under tournament was ridiculous! I usually at least take on the kids twelve and under. I was playing the sixteen and under tournaments but the fourteen year olds were too tough for me!

Very funny Hu. You know we all need to boost our ego every now and then. That is why I beat up on the kids. Then I go back to the 18 and over tourneys and get put back in reality.

No wonder this sight goes down so often and you can't log in. Mike is playing pool (what's up with THAT) instead of reading all the threads and posts and Moderating and upgrading.

I think I'll put Mike H. on his 'First Warning'...... dammit !

Although I have never had the pleasure of playing Mike H. in a tournament yet, I can certainly attest to the fact that he is indeed a very nice guy. I know him fairly well from the tournament circuit and have had many a conversation with him on the state of pool in Arizona, California, and the west coast in general.

Couldn't ask for a nicer guy to be running this website or running the Desert All Around Tour as well. Probably single-handedly responsible for reviving the "open" tournament circuit here in Arizona.

And from what I remember, not too bad of a shot either. Yeah, go figure, the person behind AZBilliards actually likes to play pool ;)

Yep, but it's not a real ponytail, it's just clipped to his hat....

I watched BVal's match with Chucklez65 before our match and he played great. Shot a couple real nice banks to get out more than one game.

I think he let me win.
