Got stiffed by TX's top OB Tour woman.

A man can't win either way... If he does or say anything back it's 'I can't believe you would get into a fight with a woman' and is called a p***y... If he walks away the chick calls him a p***y. It's a classless move by the woman, IMO.

Oh yes the man can win in any exchange where the woman descends to using vulgarities of the sort she apparently did.

The way to handle it is by saying something like this: "Now that you've descended to the point of using gutter language, I choose to no longer continue this conversation." And at that point, the man simply gives her his back, unless she is someone dangerous, in which case, he says the same thing, and walks away.

This is not a man/woman thing; it's simply an issue of good manners.

Ask me how I know this response works.

You need to meet the women I've been with to rethink this. I will list 3 experiences I have had.

1 - I broke up with her and she threatened to kill herself. I said go ahead and walked out. She later stalked me and had someone get me out of a bar to talk to her. After her failed attempt of trying to get me back she let me know that if she ever saw me on the street she would run me over. I took it seriously as she came from Nicaragua during the wars and she was tortured during that time.

2 - I broke up with her and she said she would find me, knock me out and cut my dangly parts off. Once again I took it serious as this girl also came from a war torn country.

3 - We weren't dating, but I broke things off. After telling her that she was nuts and needed help she let me know that she knows people (military) and that whether I like it or not she always gets what she wants. I let her know that she is still nuts, that the people she knows are retards and that I'll be waiting.

Moral of the story: Don't date women from war torn countries.

Pinocchio

Because it's my standard "line" when someone, especially a woman, starts with the filthy mouth stuff. The reaction sometimes is disbelief, sometimes incredible anger. That's why it's important to have a good feel for the situation. If she's dangerous, be sure there is plenty of physical space to allow a quick exit, because an escalation is a definite possibility.

The woman you're talking about is/was a dangerous woman. Obviously, the response I'm suggesting won't work with that kind of person. Best thing is to avoid the person completely. Discretion is the better part of valor.

I avoided them as best I could. I do know women that have been beaten by men...don't get me wrong, but I also know many more men that have been socked by women. The difference is that the women are capable of a much higher level of violence than men. It has been estimated that for every one woman beaten by a man there are 4 men beaten by women which most are obviously not reported for very obvious reasons.

I've read that women also tend to pick up a weapon more often than men.

I dunno.
After reading this, it's kind of leading me to promote that whole A-Rod/jaw across the room option.

Girls who think they can get away with things cause they are girls, who abuse situations with the thought that no one is going to do anything cause they are chivalrous men who would not ever harm a hair on a womans head, deserve to be treated WORSE then men who try and get away with stuff.

Fact is, if she wanted to pay you, she would have.

I have YET to see a pool room that is full where someone doesn't have change for a big bill. This is just not an option as far as i am concerned.

Therefore, that story is a load of crap.

Swing away batter, swing away.

I'll bet there are more folks upset about this air barrel on this forum than the two competitors themselves. Welcome to Forum Land! :grin-square:

I am glad Sang released his frustration and anger. From what I have read on this thread, he got stiffed, and Bonnie Plowman thought she could get away with it. When she realized how much publicity this air barrel received on this forum, she had to give him the 40 bucks out of embarassment. However, it was too late. I would have done the same thing as Sam and thrown it back in her face.

She's been around pool long enough to know better than to stiff somebody. She thought she could not pay him and that this would fade away.

One afterthought I have, after reading this entire nonsensical thread, is that everything really is bigger in Texas! :wink2:

And Bonnie Plowman is a welch. :frown:

What a great term!

A person who defaults on an obligation, especially a small one; To fail to repay a small debt
en.wiktionary.org/wiki/welch

And check this out:
Synonyms (Grouped by Similarity of Meaning) of verb welch

Sense 1:
welsh, welch
cheat, rip off, chisel

Thesaurus.com also has the word "rat" listed as "informal usage" in the verb form of the word.

This could get interesting.

That was part of the article I read. It said that while men typically punch, women will use pots/pans or anything else they can swing which causes much more damage. Makes sense since I remember one throwing a box of pennies at me that probably weighed about 20 pounds. I blocked it, told her to clean up and walked off.

She messed up plain and simple. She should've paid up right there or atleast made arrangements to pay later.

The reason for this is simple. While this has been posted on the internet for the whole world to know it doesn't really matter because her world is as small as you and I. She didn't pay which ruins her name in that particular pool hall as well as any surrounding hall and any one Sang may see her in.

The simple fact that she didn't pay up will end up costing her money in the near future and she is stupid for not thinking about that.

The moral of the story is that your word is worth more than any amount of money you might have in your pocket.

Sounds to me she might also want to consider anger management classes, or therapy to help her deal with some issues.

I've known people who thought that being irritable and disagreeable were positive traits, and that lying could be good for business.

Don't think I'll ever match up with her.

THis makes far more sense than anything read on here so far. It was a plain old chicken shit move and they happen everyday in pool hals all over the country each and every day.

This is just plain old drama and I can't beieve it's been handled on a forum in this manner. About 90% have known who it was since the start of this thread and all the threats of exposing and all that is just plain old childish. It should be up to Sang and Sang only.

I just can't believe that such a petty incident would draw so much attention.

there's just something wrong about a W calling a M a lil pu$$y

(maybe it'll all make more sense tomorrow or it could be like rap and i'll never get it)

it seemed strange that she thought being called a "little Pu$$y" was supposed to be a bad thing. i thought the little ones were the ones most people liked

I'd rather be a "little Pu$$y" than someone who doesn't hold true to their word.

Once again you have demonstrated that you are reading something that isn't there, except in you own thoughts. I guess you just can't help yourself to leave well enough alone?

.....and once again you have demonstrated that you appear to have very little by way of objective perspective on how things you have written will be perceived by others within a sequence of posts on the same subject and that you wrestle so unsuccesfully with the concept of others not being able to read your mind that any resultant ambiguity somehow then "in your own thoughts" automatically becomes the readers fault.

Regarding your question.......if I ever decide to delegate any of my rationalising functions to you, including my decision making processes on whether or not any given matter I'm discussing has been brought to the point at which it is best left alone by me.....you won't need to guess, you can be sure I'll let you know.
