I know her girlfriend has my number. Bonnie called me at 1:31PM, but like I said it's not important how she got my number.akaTrigger said:Let's clear some things up.
I was the one that called Bonnie. Well, I called Bonnie's girlfriend Sunday afternoon (about 2pm) - because I didn't have Bonnie's number - and asked her if they knew what was going on on the forums. She said no. I told her that several people were suggesting that Bonnie give her side of the story.
I was on the phone with her girlfriend when she told Bonnie about the thread and then Bonnie used her own phone to call you. So, either her girlfriend gave your number to Bonnie while I was on the phone with her, or Bonnie already had it, because I could hear Bonnie talking to you in the background already.

Damn, you're fast.akaTrigger said:I'm just setting the record straight on how she got your number. And yes, about 130pm is more accurate. I was driving in the car and guesstimated the time.![]()

Just calm down, Shayla. You don't have to be so obsessed with it. If you want to call me a liar to make you feel better, that's fine, too.shayla said:Wow... seriously?! You're admitting that you knew her girlfriend (that she lives with) knows your number, but you accuse my husband and I (publicly) of being the ones to give it to her? Just to drag our good names thru this mud? Just for shits and giggles? Why should anyone take your word for anything from here on out? Oh wait, I forgot, because you said it on the internet first, its the TRUTH!
Shayla, I don't believe that Sang would implicate you or your husband in this. I think he was just saying that there are a limited number of people that have his number and was trying to figure out who. That being said, there is an old Irish proverb. When three people know a secret, it is no longer a secret. Now that Melinda has informed us of her recent phone call, I think this issue can be put to rest. The real issue now is Bonnie's side of the story. Do you know if this will ever materialize?shayla said:Wow... seriously?! Well said, Chris. ThanksBig C said:Shayla, I don't believe that Sang would implicate you or your husband in this. Papa Red said:Well, one thing this thread has succeeded in accomplishing, is that it has caused a lot of hard feelings between our AZ family. I was not there so I can't judge either Sang nor Bonnie. I just hate to see the hurt feeling between a lot of good people.
Let the thread die and let's get back to concentrating on our games and improving the image of our beloved sport.

CrisDeLaGarza said:wow! I passed out right after work last night and didn't read this thread again until I got to work this morning...I sure missed a lot!
I was there that night and from what I can tell it was a huge misunderstanding on both sides. Bonnie was playing doubles with me & two of my friends before Sang and her started playing. They played while my sis & I sat and sweated another doubles match that was taking place.
Immediately after she finished with Sang, she went to the bar (this might have been when she went to get change but I don't know), then came to sit with us. We sat and watched the other match the rest of the night and I didn't notice anything that would make me think she was dodging Sang...but I also never saw Sang approach her when she was sitting with us. (perhaps he did when she went to the bar but I really wasn't paying attention to any of that)
These players see each other ALL THE TIME at G-Cue so for such a small amount I don't think she was trying to dodge him and when he left (which was before we did) I'm sure she thought it was no big deal. She definitely wasn't short on cash that night or anything, she was buying still friends drinks.
Bonnie gambles ALL THE TIME and has no bad reputation with anyone here in Texas before this...So I still maintain it was a misunderstanding on both sides. Bonnie isn't the type of person to think that she can get by on not paying "because she is a girl". If you knew her at all you wouldn't come to that assumption.

Dragon Cue said:As I was writing my post yesterday, Bonnie somehow got a hold of my number. I am pretty sure how she got it, but that's not important. What important is what the rest of the story is.
From the outside looking in, Shayla your post above is what brought you and your husband into this fray. Sang was as generic as he could possibly be in his post and not a single person would?ve thought of you and/or your husband had you not said this.shayla said:If its not important, why mention it? Just say she called you or that she got ahold of your phone number somehow and leave it at that.
1. Shayla, had you not made the original post, this never would?ve been said.Dragon Cue said:You know what Bonnie is your good friend. This thread is four days old, you did not come out to say anything. Now you're wondering who I was referring to about her getting my phone number. I would not be surprised if you were the one who gave her my number, because your husband has my number. I said it's not important how she got it, because I talked to your husband at G Cue, he denied it & acted like he did know anything about me getting stiffed, but later he came & defended her. Not too many people that Bonnie knows have my number.
So is it important how she got it? No. Whoever gave her my number should let me know first, especially in this kind of situation.
Just a reminder that originally he didn?t accuse you or your husband. Your actions (which were akin to a ?guilty conscious?) is what prompted the ?accusation?.shayla said:Since its obvious you didn't know who gave her your number, why mention that you have an idea? And if you asked my husband if he gave your number to her, and he told you no, then its no. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. He is a man of his word, and for you to imply otherwise here on a public forum even after he told you to your face that it wasn't him is pretty shitty. (And to accuse me is even shittier! How dare you.)
Again, in light of this you could?ve just ignored Shayla & certainly shouldn?t have gone on to insinuate that it was she or her husband.Dragon Cue said:I know her girlfriend has my number. Bonnie called me at 1:31PM, but like I said it's not important how she got my number.
Again, you ultimately drug your names into the fray by being defensive with Sang about a generic statement he made.shayla said:Wow... seriously?! Two things contributed to this debacle.ironman said:This is just plain old drama and I can't beieve it's been handled on a forum in this manner. About 90% have known who it was since the start of this thread and all the threats of exposing and all that is just plain old childish. It should be up to Sang and Sang only.
I just can't believe that such a petty incident would draw so much attention.
