Grady NOT Dead

I just heard Grady is NOT dead. Jennie -- who told he passed?

I just spoke to Allen who spoke to someone at the hospice-- he's alive and kicking today, probably looking for action.

In all seriousness, he's a fighter and not going away easy. Sadly, like us all, its a matter of time. His shorter than others it seems. His life has touched a lot of us in the pool world. Never remember how they died, remember how they lived.
 
It's a damn shame someone started that other thread without verification. Kinda like watchin the news ,let's be the first screw if it's right.
 
He's not dead - simple as that.

I'm sure the news of his premature passing has reached him--- imagine that?
 
Dechaine wrote on facebook,grady passed by. He is still alive? Hope so and god bless the professor.

Looks like someone made a mistake. He is still alive as Dave said.

I feel terrible for posting the thread. Jerry Bento called us with the news that Grady was passed. Jerry lives in Columbia, SC, and so I thought he knew. I hope the moderators please delete my thread. I do feel terrible.:frown:

No worries JAM. Several people posted on Facebook earlier today that he had passed. Social networking isn't all it's cracked up to be.

That's right. The problem with tightly-knit social networking like this, is that everyone is chomping at the bit and leapfrogging each other to try to be the first to break the news.

That's just sad baggage that goes along with the "immediate" nature of social networking.

Keep fighting, Grady! You ain't done yet. You still have a lockup defensive safety inside you yet!
