Great Stroud ICCS Show

Will, miss talking to you. Glad you enjoyed the show. Wish I could have made it. You are such an asset to the hobby. Are you going to the Derby City Classic? Hope you are so we can spend some time together. I plan on helping Bill in his booth again for 3-4 days. Stay in touch.

Sincerely, Jimmy

Hi, Jimmy. Great to hear from you!!! I thought of you several times during the show. I know you would like to have been there, but priorities do manage to get in the way. I already have my room for the DCC, and look forward to spending some time with you there.

Take care,

For some of us less fortnate, I would love to see some of your pics from the past show (if any):D

I completely agree with you Will, the ICCS show was plenty of fun. I enjoyed meeting lots of the AZ bretheren there. Many, many fine cues and collections. I have newfound respect for a couple cuemakers whose work I hadn't previously seen enough of in person (Bill Schick for instance--just loved a few of his cues). Will thanks again for your Szamboti "Prodigal Son" story...it was entertaining. Hats off to Bill and Barbara Stroud for all they do to make the ICCS happen. Looking forward to 2007!

Another great ICCS show is now over, and it was the best one ever. I thoroughly enjoyed the collectors with the cues on display, the cuemakers with all the latest designs, and the AZers I met at the show.

Congratulations to Bill Schick for the Best In Show award, to Richard Black for the Josswest Prize for design, and to Bob Manzino for selection by the displaying collectors as a future displaying cuemaker.

To Chris Tate (Palmer Czar), Cain (with your Szamboti), Matt (Cueaddicts), Dennis Searing, Larry Wood, Andy Gilbert (multiple cues in the Grand Collection), Bruce Sporn, Bill Grassley and all the rest who attended for the first time, I enjoyed my time with each of you! Ken Kerner and Jimbo, see you in VF.

The entire industry owes Bill Stroud a genuine round of thanks for establishing and hosting the International Cue Collectors Show. It is incomparable to any other on the planet..... trust me.
