14.1

So, do any of these have the guts to play a ball on opening break, or are they all sissies and play a safety .... (just kidding)

I take it they will probably play 1 match on opening day, and 2 matches a day on the following 2 days before they cut the field in half.

Lets all pick the #1 seeds out of each group.

Will their be Vbetting on this tournament?

Jazz, Niels, and a few others are unfortunately bypassing because the WPA is not sanctioning it.

John Schmidt broke his arm. Harriman i heard quit playing
the europeans, a shame to see them not support the only World 14.1 there is just cause a WPA stamp not on there

I'm pulling for Hop - He keeps getting 5th place in this thing... he's bound to have a good 14.1 week sooner or later.

I also wanna send a few shout-outs to:

Grady
Jerry Tarantola
Shaun Wilkie
Mike Davis

If anyone listed above snaps off the event, I'll break my bed from jumping up and down.

GO GUYS!

I think some of the European players are passing on this because they may be playing in the World Cup of Pool in the Philippines that starts next week or this weekend as well, followed by 2 events in Europe so that would be a lot of traveling. I know of some friends who are not attending because their country will usually "sponsor" them for this event but pulled out this year when the WPA sanctioning was not approved.

Biking

my younger bro is a quad now because of mountain biking.anything on 2 wheels can be bad ,just gotta be lucky.

Not a very smart move, health or money wise doing any activity that could take your life, harm you, or jeopardize your pool playing carreer.

Now you'll most likely have arthritis in that arm when you get older, and it will most likely pain you some the rest of your life, it would be very wise to stay off the bikes,........... think about it!:scratchhead:

It would be smart of you to get an insurance policy on your hands, my brother Calvin has a policy for $250,000 on his ,there not expensive at all, he has been a pool player all his life, and made sure if something happen to his hands and couldn't play pool anymore for a living he would have something to fall back on.

I'm not trying to ride you John, just expressing some constructive thought.

i like the insurance on my hands but i dont think its that easy, ive tried.
whats the difference im a poolplayer im going to be broke my whole life anyways.if pool paid anything i would stay off bikes.i wouldnt ride cars or planes or eat or go outside either.theres probably as many injuries from hanging out in poolhalls as riding streetbikes.
i asked about insuring myself and the insurance guy talked like its crazy expensive .they only pay like 2/3 of what you make. your brother would have to make a half million at pool to get 250, and prove hes a tourney winning tax paying poolplayer.
