Just bought this Guerra redwood burl cue brand new from another AZer. It is to me the most beautiful combination of woods and design that I have ever owned. And now comes the question, how does it play? I am happy to say great, the hit is solid with good feel and feedback. The balance is slightly forward, my ball control was excellent for first time use. I am one happy pool player at age 87. In a couple of my frequent trips to the bathroom last night I had to check out the cue. Just kidding. .

Hi Larry,

It was a pleasure speaking with you yesterday. Your are not too shabby with your picture skills. Yeah that redwood burl was from a guitar grade slab.

I hope my photography skills are in tact, because I was a professional photographer in New York City for 45 years. It isn't easy to photograph cue sticks without proper lighting, so I used natural light for these photos. The proper lighting formula to bring out texture in the wood without specular highlights is to put an umbrella light source on each end , facing each other.

Hey Larry, FastEddieF.here, beautiful cue looking to meet you in N.Y. in July

THAT is probably the best piece of wood ive ever seen. its like waves or clouds. its 3D, its phenomenal.
nonono, it reminds me of the desert, the ridges the wind leaves on the sand dunes. nice

Pretty cue Larry. Is Guerra cues in the phillipines?? I saw your post on Babin Cues. Very nice of you to help him. I also have a cue coming from him.
I'm usually one of the old guys, but in this case I'm just a kid
