Just let me start by saying THIS CUE IS AWESOME. All done by hand NO CNC with 274 INLAYS. Cue is an Ebony on Ebony with Amboyna Burl floating points. Inlays of Sterling Silver, Ivory, Amboyna burl. This one is going to be a bumperless ivory hoppe with custom polished weight bolt with cue makers name and year of cue. Needs a wrap still, matching something with the Burl ? This one is going to have fancy matching joint caps. Fancy ring-work at all positions of Ivory & Sterling silver. This one has an Ivory joint as well. LETS SEE WHO CAN GUESS THE CUE MAKER ! ! ! HE'S BACKCOLOR]Ok, for all those that guessed cue maker NED MORRIS, your RIGHT ! ! ! I've added the last two pictures to show the bumperless hoppe weight bolt and Ned's spread on page 67 in the 3rd Edition Blue Book of Pool Cues. Ned has been away from the business for a while and has lost a lot of weight, heathly and back making cues full time. He does some of the best work in the business and his cues are definitely players.

The So Cal masked bandit...otherwise known as Ned. Beautiful cue coming together !!

A fine looking cue, looking forward to the unveiling of cue maker!

I was thinking Paul Mottey first, the Inlays not sharp enough for a McDaniel:wink:
so I don't know the Maker yet but it will be a beauty.
Ralf- still hoping Bill comes back

Two pictures added to original thread
