dayton......looks like there are strips of snakewood as the pattern doesnt match between each point. i'm guessing thats cuz 2 sides of snakewood have no pattern and are plain so strips are taken a put together to preserve the pattern throughout the cue instead of having 2 grainless sides.
 
that 4 sided Snakewood is high dollar.i don't think it will hold up over time if it is a solid piece of Snakewood,it would also have to be butt heavy i would think.that stuff is bad to warp and crack.

Sure looks like a Davis, especially the way the bottom of the maple front ends. Also looks like the aspect ratio his blanks usually have.
