Gus Szamboti 70's

I've hit with a number of Szamboti cues and never liked the stiff as a pipe feel.
I like a softer hitting cue.
I was a snooker player first….we like those stiff hits…my Szamboti was the most powerful cue I ever had. Mind you, I had the ivory ferrules cut off and replaced with fibre and the shafts retapered carom style 12 mm.

3 months update: What's going on in the high end Gus market? Up? Down ? Thanks
You’ve made it so everyone hates this Szamboti cue. You will be lucky to get $8,000 for it now. Maybe you should give it to a Charity so they can auction it off for their cause and you would only be out the $150 you paid for the cue and we can all move on.

An 8 1/2 year long waste of everyone’s time. Just put the thing up on eBay. You’ll find out what it’s worth. The “update on the Szamboti market” crap is lame.

Nah.

I will make a sweet offer. I will take it on consignment. I will guarantee to hold out for 20 grand for as long as necessary. I'll just keep the cue with me, and make sure it gets played some. No worries at all. I won't sell it for a dime less than 20 grand. Could take a while. I won't mind, I'm a nice guy, I'll just hang on to it. A small monthly stocking fee is all I will need for the inconvenience.

See? No waste of time at all. This is a productive 8 1/2 year discussion.
