I had my Ob-1 shaft turned from the stock 12.75 mm to around 12.3 mm and had a moori med replace the everest tip. My line of thinking was that by turning the shaft down, I may have a little more accuracy. Played with it today and it is so different. It even hits alot firmer too sit seems. Also the cue seems very unforgiving through a bad stroke or follow through. It seems harder to gauge follow, draw, and english. Dunno if overall if this was a good idea. Don't get me wrong, it still feels great, just as happy with that as before but playabillity of the whole deal is way off. I think I may be getting to much action on the cue ball and now its overkill. May be I am just not used to it yet and may have it to give a few weeks to see if it is helping or hurting my game. Jury is still out on this one. Thanks for any input you guys may have.
