One of pro pool's greatest treasures was born 40 years ago from today. That treasure is Tony Robles.

To my close friend, have a happy 40th.

Tony is not...cannot be 40 yrs old.... SJM are you playing an April fools joke on us???

After doing a little research I discovered that SJM wasn't pulling our leg after all.... I'll be damned, I never ever would've guessed that TR is 40! If i had to guess, I would've put him at 30 to 32.

Happy b-day Tony! That's a helluva gene pool you come from.... ya'll got the low down on the fountain of youth & keeping it to yourselves??? :p

Timberly,

I also could not believe Tony was 40. Are you sure?

Tony is my close friend and I know his age and birthday!

If you want to be sure, the text of the NY Times article written about him on March 1 and posted on this forum noted his age at 39.

Get over it!

Wow, he has definitely kept himself in very good shape. I would think he was only in his early thirties if you did not tell me.

Happy Birthday Tony.:)

Richard<<<< from the Kung Fu X Breaker guy as you like to call it.:)

SJM, you know that I trust you. LOL, everyone seems to be in the "April fools mood" today, so I had to make sure cause he sure does age well. ;)

Richard, Tony Robles was born April 1st 1966 according to his player profile on both AZB and the IPT website. :)

A happy birthday to Tony! Best wishes! Is he going to be at ABC today? I'm going to sweat the 14.1 qualifiers. Thanks for the thread, sjm.

Well happy birthday to Tony, who continues to be one of our game's greatest treasures.

Happy Bday Tony-How does it feel to be only one decade away from an old codger like me?

If his sense of humor is anything like mine, he'd tell ya that it's ok because no matter how old he gets, you'll always be older. :D

Yes, Cheers to Tony...who I happen to know is an occassional reader here.

Was pleased that TR introduced himself in Orlando, most humbly and friendly. I'm a few months ahead of you old chap, ...best wishes and many happy returns.
