Once again we celebrate the birthday of the greatest country this world has ever known.
Give pause to salute our veterans, and those who currently serve.
Say thank you to all our police, firefighters, and ems personnel.
And, to all the hardworking, tax paying and pool playing members of this forum, enjoy the day. You're the greatest.

A little reminder from the Trampster: Don't drink a fifth on the fourth if you wish to go fourth on the fifth. Be careful out there. :)

Lest we forget

Thank you "America" for everything.....the good and the bad, the successes and failures, the joys and the heartache but most of all the opportunities. The best nation ever in history/

Stand tall with your chest held high veterans everywhere............You're part of the main reasons why our country is still around.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

Happy 4TH to my friends south of the 49TH.

Hope your day is filled with Family, good friends and good food.

And lots of Fire Works.

In April of 1776 my great great great great great great great grandfather, who at the time lived in western Maryland, as he laid in his bed near death, called his sons into the room and told them that his very best rifle was to be donated to the local militia, to be used to defend us from those limey bastards who were trying to rule us from across the ocean.

Well grandpa, you'll be happy to know that we succeeded.

I love this dam country.

What do you mean Happy Fourth of July???

I stubbed my little toe on the bed rail gettin' up this morning. My A/C is on the fritz and it's 95 degrees outside. On top of that, my dog climbed up on the kitchen table while I was pourin' myself a glass of milk at breakfast this mornin' and ate all the sausage off my plate :(.

Maniac (and....now I've got a dead dog )

On a more serious note....yes, Happy 4th of July to each and every member on this forum!!! And.....thank you Lord for all the brave citizens of this great nation that made the sacrifice to serve honorably in the Armed Forces!!! May God bless the American soldiers!!!

Great story, Mr. Bond. I have a similar one involving my Grandmother.

My immediate family and I were gathered around my Grandma's bedside, sadly awaiting her passing.
As she gazed around the room she saw me, and weakly motioned for me to come nearer. I quietly walked over and sat down in the chair by her bedside, lovingly taking her hand.
She looked deep into my eyes, smiled sweetly, and after a moment said, "Son. You ain't nothing but bad luck."
What a gal.
