Thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes.
I'm going to play Ed Latimer some 14.1 at Red Shoes tonight. Tables are kind of tough, but I'll see what I can put together.
Scott, I am back to basics lately, trying to straighten out my stroke, doing some of the mother drills. My brother was in town this weekend and we played even at 9 ball, but I got him on 14.1. My pockets in the basement are much tighter than when you were there and you should have heard him squawking. Sid it was like playing on a snooker table.
Willie, I saw some of your friends at the Protyme qualifier this weekend. Quite a lot of excitement. I thought you might have come up.
Eydie, thanks and nice seeing you Saturday. Sounds like I missed out on a lot of excitement there, but I did get to see a little.
Raemundo, Raemundo... What can I say? I was thinking of getting your prize money from Red Shoes and going back to Phoenix for some more chicken feet. Seriously, though, this is the last scheduled week and there will be some makeups so $$ should be out in the next few weeks. Me and Eddy and Chuck from ProTyme are probably going up to a one day 14.1 tournament in Grayslake next Sunday. Keep in touch.

Sorry I couldn't make it; I would have come if they needed a driver, but everything worked out without me. I've been spending a LOT of time on pool this summer; so I thought it would be prudent to spend a little time with the wife.
I will definitely try to make it up to Orland Park this fall or winter; hope we can arrange a game.
