Once in awhile we "meet" someone whether online or in-person who makes a dramatic impact on our lives...and with some of them we feel "lucky" to consider a friend! Well, for me, Chopdoc fits that to a "T"!!!

Chopdoc is always willing to share his knowledge with regards to cue identification...a lot of the time on some pretty obscure "low-end" production cues - which there are a lot of people on here who have those types of cues, not just the "expensive customs"!

He goes out of his way to see what he can do to help contribute information, ideas and personal opinions in a very intelligent, thoughtful and positive manner...and quite often says it in such a way that makes me laugh in the process!

Chopdoc...you enrich our lives...mine in particular...and for that I thank you!

yea.. happy birthday doc. i agree he is one of the most positive posters on here. every one has a bad day once in a while and one time i had to get on his ass for a negative post of his,

being the man he is he apologized . i commend him for that.

btw jamsgolf you are one of the most positive on here also.

that was nice of you to hook doc up with that golf caddy for that huge case of his,

also thank you again jamsgolf for posting pics of my cue in the cue gallery for me. that was nice of you to take the time to help me.

Thanks so much Jason. Yeah...he hooked me up with that cart. The cool thing that I still have to get pics of is that it totally folds up on the side of the case!

And yes, lorider kicked my ass....but I deserved it. We all behave like jackasses occasionally. I for one prefer to just own up to it if I am called on it. It's a hell of a lot simpler than trying to defend acting like a jackass. :D

Folks it does my heart good to see this. I am stuck at home. Jason is well aware that I have been fighting bronchitis but what he hasn't heard from me is as it turns out I have pneumonia. I started antibiotics yesterday but my ass is severely kicked.

Lastly.....There is something else that arrived from the Great Saran Man. Stay tuned and you will see what it is in a soon to be published review but I will give you a hint. It has a rubber bumper on one end and screws together in the middle. :D

A special thank you goes out to atthecat for holding this for me until today. I was waiting for payday. It is my present to myself.

My JOSS really needed a new shaft, and isn't this one special? After all these years....since 1985 when I got her used for $35....the old girl will have a new business end. I can't wait to see how it shoots and I will be taking all new pics of my JOSS with the new shaft. Scruggs cut his teeth in the JOSS shop, so it's appropriate to have a Scruggs shaft IMHO.

Thank You atthecat for helping make my birthday something really special. :thumbup:

Very helpful gentleman. Where most would shun me, tell me to search or the topic has been discussed before for being new to the forums instead he went out of his way to help with his kind words.

That's because the Magnificent Saran Man sent me something else that I already have in hand....and it does have a rubber bumper! LOL! :thumbup:
