harvest time in New Hampshire Apple wood cue

Here is one I just finished.Curly maple with apple wood points and butt sleeve.the butt cap,joint and ferrule are from moose antler.The wrap is a honey cognac elephant ear from Martin at Superior cues.I like the darker brown color of the apple wood compared to the lighter colors.

Awesome apple wood, very nice detail work as well. Remember you put
the same elephant wrap on my 3c cue ? We need to see more cues from you.
 
Very neat cue. And to think, we just took out some apple trees here about 3 years ago now. I never even thought to save for a possible cue! :angry:

On a lighter note...we have a wood stove in our gameroom, and the applewood smelled absolutely intoxicating when it burned! :grin:

What about plum? Is it good for anything?
