I've never seen the cloth on the slate ripped, but I have seen the rail cloth come off from underneath the little piece of wood that holds it down.

That is not an Accident, just a bad jump shot!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't done it myself, but I've seen it happen. A newbie was trying to masse.

I've done it a lot. Most of AZB was fortunate enough to be born with all the knowledge of this game. I had to learn through practice. Mistakes happen.

I ripp the cloth evertime I'm @ the table but I do it without a pool cue figure that one out....

I forgot I repair tables ..... you really have to do something stpid to rip the cloth but it happens alot..

I totally agree!!!!!

well if its ure fault it might be stupid but if cloth is old, or not tight enough or inferior products then i would say its not stupid...

When I first got my table I put some nasty stab marks in my cloth trying to break too hard.

Oh well, rookie mistakes.

Table tears

in 46 years of playing, I have not torn the cloth. But, I did not try complicated things, like masse' or jump shots, until I researched, learned about the proper way to perform them, before I tried them.
