Have you ever made a $10,000 10 ball?

I tried finding a stick to replace mine a few years back. Had zero luck. That old Schon feels dang good!
I gave you a shot at a fantastic cue with a great story behind it and you didn't even hit a ball with before turning it down, ya nit!

I gave a good holler when I rounded the table on my way to the ten! Yea...I was flying!!!

I used to play deathly slow. I videotaped a match during the BCA nationals in Vegas back in the mid 90's. When I went back to watch it my wife asked me what was wrong. I was bored beyond disbelief! I knew what was going through my head on the inside but from the outside I just looked like I was on the stall. Since then I have tried to improve my pace. I really think slow play kills the rhythm and you need it to play top speed!

wait for it....

here it comes....

but what the hell do I know...I am not an instructor!!:eek::eek:

I couldn't resist! And am totally joking. Our recognized instructors...no wait...certified....no credentialed...crap! Those folks who we all know are experts have a LOT to teach us all! It does appear they have a bit to learn as well...just not so much about pool. Maybe JoeW could put on a seminar at DCC! :D

Thanks for the accolades, everyone!

Slow? Who would have ever called you slow, lol?!?!? True stroy - one time about 20 or so years ago Okie and I were playing scotch doubles 9 ball, overmatched with a little spot, and put the stall on these guys so bad I thought they were going to come flat out of their skins. It goes hill hill and I have to shoot a miracle cut into the side and we run out for the win. I've never seen two guys so happy to lose just so they could get out of the game!

+1!

However, my nick stems from my IRC poker days....back before internet poker was cool!

Does anyone remember R00lbot? lol

Ken
Hmmm... yep, sounds familiar. :)

All kidding aside, that's a real nice run for ya, Ken. Here's hoping there's lots more of on the horizon. We definitely need to come out to your place in the near future.

I think your offer came after the loss of my job....aka I decided to go a different route on the new cue quest ;)

I am in love with the design that won the OB design contest though. Ebony Blood.

If it hits anything like my OB1 shaft then it will be an awesome cue!

I don't think we put the stall on as much as we were stuck in a stall by the way we played! We were both too slow. It sucks to suck! lol

We won a match? ;)

Thanks for the comments Tom! The door is always open at my place. TB should be dropping by in the near future. I will let you know and maybe we can have a sit down then!

I have noticed myself doing the knee thing lately. Not sure why...I have very dry hands. Maybe I am wiping chalk or something off. Or maybe I have a new twitch! ;)

Going to Disney World! oh wait...nope. Like I told my wife who wanted to spend some towards misc expenses...I am reinvesting it in myself! I have a LONG way to go!

Thanks Joey!

That was strong! You played that very, very well... congratulations.

Thank you!

Well done! Wow, that 4-ball! OOOf, nailbiter there. Congrats.

Yes it was!!

Thanks!

I responded earlier but just now had a chance to watch it.

I'm pretty impressed. That break out on the 2 ball was tough and you showed quite a bit of knowledge on that shot. I was thinking you were going to have to use a bit of right hand and come straight down at the 2. Nope, you knew you had a couple of inches to spare and you could go two rails and out into the cluster. Very nice shot there. I bet that change in angle made all the difference in the world. Had you gone 1 rail who knows if you would have even gotten a shot on the 2. Good decision and great out!!!
