Well... here is something I thought I would never say... this is my new JB case! :shocked2:

When it came down to it, I realized John was the only case maker that was going to be able to make exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it. Most know John and I have had our differences in the past, like many, and it took a lot of thinking before I contacted him to build me a case.

If that isn't shocking enough, this was one of the best commissions I have ever been involved in. This build went the way all builds should go. John was a perfect gentleman, responsive, helpful, and genuinely wanted this case to be everything I wanted it to be... and more! I received frequent email updates, we spoke on the phone, and he sent progress pics. I could not have asked for it to go any better than it did.

Thanks to John, Karen, and his team for building an absolutely outstanding case!

John - If you read this... this is what you do best. This is how you should spend your time. Stay away from posting on the forums and build more great cases like this.

So without further adieu... here is the case...

Without a doubt, that is one very nice looking case.
I have to see how he finished it off on the inside with cues.
More pictures please.

Big congrats.............. nicest butterfly case I have ever seen.

Can't wait to see it in person (hopefully at the DCC)

Kudos for making the decision to try a JB even though you guys have had your differences. John makes an amazing case, and is a perfect gentleman with his customer service.

The best envelope case I have ever seen. I want to get one for myself, enjoy!

Very nice, Jamie! John makes a fantastic case. Enjoy!

Not only did hell freeze over but the devil himself got some new ice skates to go with it as we can't forget that Roy Malott at IndyQ took the order and helped to push it through by exchanging some of his stock orders for your case.

This is the good side and you are right. You were also witness to a colossal display of the "dark" side by me elsewhere last week at the same time we were building this case. Having invested the equivalent of a year over the last 15 embroiled in online "discussion" I really see the light now, I think.

Thank you Jamie for being willing to give us a shot despite the words we exchanged. It means a lot to me to be able to show you what we do rather than just talk about it.

Hope you have a great time at the DCC.

Here are the pics we took. http://www.jbcases.com/thegoodside.html

Lastly, this case came to life through the efforts of my team. Without them there is no JB Cases. All of these people worked on your case this past week.

Nice man bag...

That is a great looking case. I love everything about my butterfly case. He also made me a killer 1x2 for league play. It's amazing what he can do when he is NOT here, burning out his keyboard.

<~~~~~~~~thought you became a Cubs fan :p

That's a very nice case, congratulations! I would be very proud to carry that case, a ton of hard work goes into something like that.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due...
That case, is a job well done Sir...
Kudos to you and your crew!

This is very nicely done. I use a 4 by 8 butterfly case, its a cheap Lucasi one that still looks new a year later and holds everything but the butterfly case is the best because its light weight even overfilled and has a nice comfortable large padded strap. I had nice 2 by 4s that just weighed too much so I would just get rid of them. Having something that functions in every way you want is priority but having it look awesome like this one is the nuts.
