i became a big Karl Boyes fan at the ipt qualifier in Bellflower at Hard Times. I saw him crush world class player after world class player, a absolute joy to watch. You have my vote Karl, your the man!

Has your life changed at home since your wonderful finish in last years WPC? Do the people in England ask you or Peach to appear at more functions, have they done any write ups? In other words, has your success caused an upsurge in pool in England? Wouldn't it be something if England starts producing players like the Philipines and Taipei do? Do you think that 9 ball will ever replace snooker in popularity in England?

Well you know, unlike easy-e, I think Karl looks a little too beefy to be considered attractive. :) Nice looking or handsome----- OK, but in a young, manly kind of way, but not attractive. :D :D .

But seriously, the thing that makes me want to vote for Karl is the way he hooked up on AZ and asked for our vote. That's pretty cool. I look forward to seeing Karl's game down the road.

I'm a big fan of his game. I remember first seeing him at the IPT World Open in Reno --- and watching him demolish everyone...Americans, Filipinos, whoever. I was like, "Who the hell is that guy?"

Someone says, "I think his name is Karl Boyes."

After he bashed in Busty and other top-top players...I was like, "Yeah, I won't forget this guy."

Forget about his playing ability - this guy is entertaining. If you want a high-caliber ENTERTAINING match ... Karl is the man. CHEERS GWAPO! GO GET'M!

hell yea I'll vote for you! you and your wing man at the Derby were totally crackin me up! It was drinks, then ladies and drinks, then pool-ladies-drinks...:D

only problem is I hear the music from Benny Hill in my head every time you guys got on the mic.....:D
 
yeh me and darren will be at the bca in vegas...looing forward to it...nothing really happened in uk mate.no invites no sponsors nothing.
it would take a really good run tour for pool to take over snooker in uk..top snooker players are worth afew million now...but the prize fund has dropped but its still good...
lets hope something will happen in pool soon..after all it is a sport played worldwide...
me and darren on the mike together is not a good mix ha ha
 
Thought it was gonna be an all UK final in Manila (the horror...:p )

Have you heard anything about the venue being changed this year? Rumor has it it's being moved out of the Philippines (which is a shame as I planned to go).

You can plan for the World 10-Ball Championship instead. Sep 29 to Oct 5.
 
heard the worlds is not in philippines this year but there trying to stage it in aisa somewhere..shame really coz you get a great atmosphere in philly but im sure wherever it is it will be awsum.....
hopefully i may get a sponsor before i retire lol...
