Hi! Can anyone help identify this cue? I am wondering who made it, That is converted it.

It is a Willie hoppe cue , It has the Hoppe name still on it and also the original wieght. I has three shafts with it 1 predator 314-2 and 2 fitted shafts although one still needs to be turn down a bit for proper fit,.

All of the white inlays are Ivory, Black inlays could be ebony?

The cue plays great and I hate to part with it but If I can get an Idea of what its worth , I will consider selling it. Thanks for your help.

Hoppe Conversion

The cue was converted by the guys at Tart cues in Kansas City. They do pretty good conversions. I have a couple of their old Brunswick cue conversions. Value? $350-$450 Good luck with your cue sale.

No idea who converted it, but it's a beautiful oak Titlist butt originally from the early '40s.

Any contact info on them? Thanks 9ball

There is a Tart cue on ebay right now. Starting bid $225 no bids, with a BIN of $275.

Tough cue to identify the only thing that looks Hoppe is the signature, so I agree with the conversion idea the craftsmanship looks to be better then average.......Nice cue value wise tough call to throw a number at it I say $500 give or take $50

if the white is ivory and the inlays are sharp,in other words the inlays are not rounded on the ends then i would not put the value under $1000.I never heard of tart but if they do work this good,or as this appears ,i don't see how it could sell for $500,if you live near a well known cue maker i suggest you take the cue to him to analyze.

It is an old willie hoppe house cue that has been turned down and made into a nice cue,but even those old housecues sell for $300 or more before turning the blank, building the shafts($300 each from top cuemakers, then putting the joint, tips and then the inlays(which are not that easy to do right)

I wouldn't be so quick to sell it ,if you like the play

Thanks for your reply, Best info I`ve heard yet. Thanks

I am not quick to sell it as it looks and plays great. The ivory is very nice as are all the inlays. I just figured if the right price came along, Then I would part with it.

I was told by a cue dealer that 1500.00 was not out of the question. But I will like to hear any other offers if their serious. Thanks

I saw this cue recently, and found it to be a great cue, converted from a super Hoppe. I did not hit balls with it, but those that have, said it plays great.

Good luck with the sale. It will make somebody a great player!
