Have a buddy with a Valley 3.5 x 7. His cushions need replacement. Where can one get the proper cushions for this, and/or can it be done with K66 cushions and some brains?

several of the major billiard supply outfits sell "ready-made" replacement cushions for 7' tables.

Get a hold of Kerry at Ridgebackrails.com for a new set of rails. I didn't spend all the time I did with Kerry to design and build a second rate set of replacement rails just to sell Valley rails. I spent the time with Kerry because he's a great friend, like a brother to me...and because he's great at what he does, and when it comes to the Valley replacement rails, he's second to no one in the design or quality.

Penguin brand rails are a great Valley replacement rail. Ridgeback Rails are the nuts for a great playing rail with some additional feature upgrades.

Don't bother with trying to replace the rubber on the original rails with a K66. Those rails take a different profile rubber, so with the price of modifications to accept a different profile that won't be cost effective. Even if you use the intended profile, replacing the rubber will probably cost about as much as just replacing the whole rail with new.
