Hi all/ If i (Mary) is getting the 7 in nine ball with Peter/ and Paul is giving Peter the 7 / What should I be getting Playing Paul. This maybe a math question lol but help me out! thanks

Mary, you need a lot. Perhaps the 6 and out and a brain scan. J/K!
I don't know the level of play you all perform at, but if Paul is running racks and typically gets out from an open table, you need a lot. If he doesn't typically get out, then a bit less of a spot is called for.

Player A > Player B...Player C > Player A...Player B < Player C....this does not mean that any player ALWAYS has a decisive advantage over another. A players strengths and weaknesses play a key part in the breakdown of weight.
But I would try the game with the 7 and last 2 from the stronger of the 2 players and then adjust to the 7,8, if you don't have a chance the other way. Unless you can get the 7,8 first!

I would ask some of the other apostles, they probably have the player's speed clocked pretty accurately.
5 or 6 ??? But, I'd insist on called shot.

Paul can give any single ball and he is a pirate. Mary needs to practice up and call Paul 'No, Sir' for a while.

If Paul plays well enough to string racks, then you're probably going to have to get the breaks to keep him from outrunning whatever spot is involved, or get some games on the wire. The 6-out doesn't mean much if he's getting out 5 times to your 3. I would ask for something like the snaps, the 7 and the last 3 and negotiate from there. If you can't get the breaks, then try to get some games on the wire, or shoot for a BIG ball spot like the wild 5&7. If you begin the negotiations by asking for what you actually think you need, you've probably already lost.
