Joel is at the top of the food chain in cuemaking. His cues are functional art that hit whitey pretty sporty also.

Wow...i find myself salivating whenever i see a brand new Hercek..this one is sweet.
But what i admire even more is Hercek's artistic ability, sandly i can't say the same for many of the top tier cue makers. Many of them make great cues that plays great or have incredible details. However few of them move out of their comfort zone to explore new designs or are artistically inclined to interpret objects into elements and elements into designs on cues...i respect Mr Hercek for that...i can't say i love all his cue designs but many that i've seen lately are dam fantastic...
 
I truly appreciate the involvement of your inspiration and the creativity used to integrate.
Functional, sentimental art piece. Doesn't get much better than that.
