Here are some Collectible Huebler Cues

Huebler Collection: NICE

Maxx, Very nice selection. I especially like the yin yang designed cue. I have seen one in the past and it ranks up there with the US Open for a collector. Sometime soon I will clear my table off and try pics of my collection. Most are locked away in the safe. I have trouble with the picture size limit posting.
Trying to post a US Open picture: ?

try,try again

Thanks bobalouiecda. the US open is a cue that I would like to get someday, very nice. I thought I posted a closeup of the butt of the custom, but it isn't there. I'll try again. and try again.

I checked back to make sure the picture posted, and I now see the picture in the original post???? Sorry, I'm a rookie!

Picture Quality

Maxx, The picture of the US Open is very blurry when I got it to 100KB. It looks excellent in my IPhotos and better in person. I may sell it some day and possibly another Custom to help pay for my new Cochran I got recently. I have so many Hueblers, and would like to have more diversity in my collection. Would be interested in possible trades?

The trouble with trading is that you have to find something to let go; always difficult for me, be it cues or motorcycles.

Trading Pool Cues

I really do not want to part with any of my higher end cues, but it is getting out of hand and I know I should let some go. I would trade a few of my cues for the right Harley. Might even throw in a pool table or two.

I don't think I could trade a Harley for a cue, I got one that I have had almost as long as that no-name Huebler. I guess I could post pictures of a bike if we were trading.;)
Bobalouiecda and Manwon, thanks for the nice coments.

I remember getting a Huebler brochure that showed the custom shop cues, and there were a couple that I wanted bad. The plain jane with the cross in the butt was one of them.

What is happening with Huebler these days? If they're still in business, is Paul Huebler still involved? I wish I would have thought to check for Hueblers at SBE.

I bought a custom Huebler back in 1988 and played with it for close to 20 years. A friend of mine borrowed it but did not what to give it back. I loved that cue so much that I have been trying to find anything with the same hit and feel ever since!! Happy to know there are people who appreciate Hueber cues.

Last year, Paul Huebler did not completely closed just scaled down due to age and arthritis. He told me that he doesn't like computers, so he doesn't have an online presence. if you still want a Huebler, you can call him at his shop in Linn Missouri. Afternoons are the best times and he answers the phone.

Three months ago, I thought a Huebler would be a great holiday present to myself. He told me to look up one of his catalogs, find a model that I liked, write down any extras I wanted and he'll give me quote either by fax or telephone.

It is nice that we still have the option of ordering additional cues but I would feel bad placing an order if it will be painful for Paul to make it. Hopefully he didn't lose a significant amount of money in the Stock Market and at least has the option of enjoying his retirement years.

I have a question that maybe someone could answer. At my first BCA show in Kansas City in 1994 or 95 Paul had made a set of miniature cues that were all done perfectly to scale, inlays and all, to represent his line at the time. When I say miniature I mean that they were perhaps about half the length of a shaft if I remember correctly. They were being auctioned off I think in a blind bidding method. I heard a rumor that the set went for more than $10,000 but I have never since seen it talked about.

Anyone know any more info on this set of minature Huebler cues?

I will trade you for my Paul Huebler story. :-)

Huebler Pool Cue

Hey guys I think I got a good deal but one of my buddy's sold me a Huebler Cue which I will post pictures of the cue is straight as an arrow and I bought it for $50 does anyone know if this was a good deal or not? Also someone said that Huebler was still somewhat in business and I am only about 2.5 hours away from their shop does anyone know if this is true because I was thinking of contacting him and seeing if he could fix this cue up a little bit. This is my everyday shooting stick but I am thinking about putting it away for collectable reasons.

Anyway here are the photo's of my Huebler cue

A nice Huebler for $50, can't go wrong there.
Interesting cue, I had not seen one like it,
enjoy shooting with it!

Just picked this up yesterday for 45 bux :)

It will be my main stick as soon as it is re tipped.

Here it is next to my baby which now I can leave at home. I love it so, but taking it anywhere always scares me.

If anybody can give me the model and year on both of them it would be appreciated. I don't have access to a book at the moment.
