Here are some Collectible Huebler Cues

Your Baby is a Huebler HE, i would have to dig to find the date, but i think its right around 1990 or so when it was introduced. I have some information on it though right from Paul, if I could just find the paper I wrote it on. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it?

It will be my main stick as soon as it is re tipped.

Here it is next to my baby which now I can leave at home. I love it so, but taking it anywhere always scares me.




If anybody can give me the model and year on both of them it would be appreciated. I don't have access to a book at the moment.

I got it doing some trade work, helping refurbish and refinish a antique Brunswick table. So all in all less then the one that was listed for 600-800 on ebay recently.

On a side not it turns out that the brass pin on the older one is bent, Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can straighten it or buy a new one, and what I would need to install it without messing it up?

I do furniture repair and refinishing and have competence in my abilities to do it correctly. As of right now I have it barely threaded into a piece of oak and it is hanging vertically in my closet but I don't think it will do any good.

I love that chess cue. Huebler had some great designs. And the cues play well too. I wanted to one for sale a while ago with the micarta ferrules. I forget who had it posted.

Resurrecting a worthy thread...Paul is one of America's best. Gladly put mine up if someone asks! EH_7.. Last heard he is in a home being tended to...

Here is one that was made about 25-28 years ago. I called Paul and had him make me a Model HC without the stitch rings in the sleeve and collars and had him use silver rings in the joint collars with an unfinished wrap.
I've never seen another one like it. The cue is a 57" cue and plays great. Cue has been refinished by Ryan "RAT" cues.

It seems like the Custom Shop cues run in cycles; their will be a lot of interest, then a lot of cues, then nothing.

Hello hh,
Nice jps, what are the attached to?

They are attached to a Huebler custom, a Jacoby custom jump cue and a break cue.
I'll post some pictures as soon as possible.

Here is one of Pauls most beauitful custom Chess cue
and is for sale but must bring deep pockets not cheap price.
It's listed here at Tampa Billiards web site in for sale section.

They also have listed a couple other huebler cues for sale.

A few years back one of the local players that I was talking to
in the pool league has a custom huebler chess cue.
That he got from a pool gambling debt. I tryed to buy it from him
so it could go with my Meucci Chess cue but he wouldn't sell it.

That cue has been on there for years and it will be on the for many more.
There alot of nicer Huebler cues that Paul Made and rarer that that one, a good example is the Custom Opal, as well as the 25 aniv cue he built for the Vagas show, there are some othere examples on the Huebler cue Fan page on facebook
