Brent looks like butterflys are in. Purple-hart with green an holly with green-holly an purple-hart rings curly maple handle an radial pin an I'm a buyer. You're coming right along.

Really nice work Brent, you are becoming a chip off Dennis Dieckmans block, but I suppose that is what happens when you learn from the Master.
One of the local cues makers up here spent a couple of weeks with Dennis, around 3 years ago it sure helped him out.

Again Brent, really nice work, I hope I can get there one day!!!

Nice butterflies

I too share a love of that style. I spent only a few hours at Diekmann's last summer but had to try a few. Dennis is a wizard in this style! This is the last one I have done. Customer loves it!

i'm still fooling around with making the jigs for different lengths of flys
locked up my table saw the other day
burned out a bushing of some sort in it
just waiting to get that back to continue the experimentation :rolleyes:

keep up the good work

You are doing great from seeing those pics! The butterfly seems to modify the hit as well, makes it crisper in my experiences.
