Hey Linda (Rackmsuckr)... who won the tourney?

Linda, who won the final NWPA tourney of the year? I left when it came down to the final 3. It was a qualifier, right?

It was great seeing Rachael Abbink there. I talked with her for a bit, and she is very nice and a sweetheart.
 
A new gal named Crystal. She reminds me a lot of Jasmin. This is her very first tournament! She has only been playing 3 years! :eek: She's 23, wore all black and had a ponytail if that helps you remember. She beat Joanne Ashton in the finals. At 7-7, she had 3 good rolls in one game.

Once, she hooked Jo on the 4, cueball close behind the 5. ALL the balls are hanging except the 5 which really doesn't have a pocket to go in after Joanne successfully jumps the 4 in. She plays a safe and Crystal gets out.

To Joanne's credit, she had an 8:45 plane to catch which she had already paid $800 for, and she was rushing some shots. (We made good time getting her to the airport while they were boarding! :rolleyes: ) It ended 9-7. Joanne has more knowledge and skill, but Crystal reminded us all of when we were just starting and had no fear of any shot on the table! She took some low percentage shots for anyone in their right mind, but nailed them. She shoots hard and that gets her in trouble sometimes, but she has a lot of firepower. Give her a little more seasoning and I would like to see her on the WPBA.

Get this - she never paid her WPBA membership, so the spot goes down to Joanne anyway. That makes 3 WPBA paid spots Joanne won for next year and she is our overall champion. Way to go. For sure, she will be having a lot of fun on tour and give the WPBA ladies a crazy time!

Did I hear correctly that Joanne won "Best in Cleavage" for her enticing attire at the tourny?

Yes, Joanne was firmly counseled on showing her midriff at her first 'showings' so I guess she decided to move 'farther up'. :p :p

It's funny because our guest room alternates between Joanne and Glenn Atwell. Glenn always says, don't bother to change the sheets after Joanne has slept there, lol.

Oh yeah, Linda.. I meant to ask.. Is your female pumpkin lady by any chance modeled after Andrea Saez-Maes? Looks just like her!

Well, not! The funny part is that she was safely at home in CN and does not read the forums much, but evidently, word got out and she emailed me about it.
