F8it,
Hmmm questions... Here we go... Well... to keep things a little fun I was wondering what kind of goodies you keep inside of your cue case pouch! Hope no one asked you this before... what kind (brand, make, model) of tip maintenance tools and stuff do you use or prefer? Oh and tips too!!!
In my case I have a Barnhart playing cue that weighs 18 oz. and a Barnhart break/jump cue that weighs 18.5 oz. I use a Predator Z shaft with a medium Moori tip for my playing cue. My break cue is just a regular Barnhart shaft with a medium Moori tip. I also have a Barnhart jump cue. As far as tip tools I have an Ultimate Tip Tool and another scuffer, some microburnishing strips, a Q-whiz pad, and thats about it. Otherwise I just have a bunch of junk in my case. Oh and my case is Jack Justis case.
Also, other "tools of the trade" I'm wondering about are little tid bits of info., technique(s) , advice, etc,
I have learned alot from other players. It is hard for me to put into words though. I do things based on feel and can't explain them very well. I would say be sure to pay close attention to everything when you are playing or watching a good player. You can see how they play their patterns and see different shots. Otherwise, I would say be sure to realize the importance of pre-shot routines. Be sure to make up your mind and be set on what you are doing before you get down to shoot. Indecision can kill you. Also, remember that no matter who you are playing, world champion or average joe, treat them with the same respect. And if you are playing a good player, remember they are human and make mistakes. You just have to be able to capitalize on their mistakes.
Another thing I am interested is how you handle your dietary needs?
Well, anyone that has seen me eat can answer this question. I have an insulin pump so I don't have to be as careful as I used to when it comes to eating. I used to have to watch very carefully what I eat and drink. Now I have some freedom. I eat like any other person....probably more than any other person.

I would cook for myself maybe...but it helps to know how to cook!
Sarah likes cheeseburgers. I am an eyewitness.
No lying there Wally. That was a monster burger too. But if I remember correctly someone visited the Burger Barge on more than one ocassion that trip??
Beauty, sanity.....what's the difference??
Sarah,,,keep us posted on where you'll be shooting,,,I've been out of the loop for a while (since closing my place in April, '05),,,haven't had time to read and post on AZ like I did,,,sleeping, eating, & watching TV is time consuming, LOL (did I mention sleeping, zzzzzzZZZzzzzZZZzzz !.............jflan
Jack, sorry to hear about your business. Sleeping isn't such a bad thing...I'm a champ when it comes to sleeping.

As for my schedule, right now the only things for sure are the WPBA U.S. Open the second week of October in Albuquerque, NM. Then the Fall Follies ring game and tournament at Southern Billiards in Starkville, MS. Then on to the WPBA Nationals the second week of November in Lincoln City, OR. Oh and the Derby City Classic in January.
