High humidity<>tight racks?

I live in Colorado at an altitude of 7500 ft and it is usually dry. Our humidity can range from single digits to around 20% on a normal day.
The RH of my area is most likely less when its raining then it is on a
"dry day" in the North East.

Having stated this we have been getting rains here for the last two weeks nearly every afternoon and I have noticed a big difference in how my table plays. I understand why there has been a change in play but I am surprised the difference in how the table racks tight every time.

It could be the cloth might of swelled or less static when the balls are touching. I do know its nice not seeing the balls shift when the rack is pulled off.

For real? Did anything else change? You're on the same table, same pool hall, it's not any dirtier/cleaner than before?

We've been humid as hell and it racks the same as always though maybe this area never has a 'dry heat' (east coast). Been sticking to the magic racks when possible so it's not a factor. Actually I feel like with humidity nothing goes smoother, the balls don't spread as nicely even if the rack is somehow tighter...

Humidity is a way of life down here in south Texas. I wish I would have played more when I was in Denver.

No nothing has changed but the relitive humidity. This is my home table and I keep the balls clean and polished and the Simonis is well maintained.

Yes, the rack is the rack that came with the Diamond table.
