high run challenge 2

That is the FIRST time I have made it to the third break!

Post me up for a new personal high. Now if only I had a shot after that last BB... I hit the rack, but just a thin glance (only kicked two balls out, and I had a great safe, but no open shot.

This is starting to get fun. I am getting far more balls into break position and good cue ball leaves. That second game, the 27 had a WIDE open rack, I just screwed worrying about BB at the end (should planned ahead better).

76 for Today

OK, got some practice in today and ran 76. Played a shot and was not playing for position, instead I was playing "area". Always a bad idea. Came up with a hard cut shot up the corner and missed it. I still had 8 balls left on the table that were wide open.
Will try to get in a little more time late tonight.

congrat on the new personal best. I think all we can do is keep doing what we think is the right thing, Sometimes good thing happen.

Today I did my usuals, bunch of teens and 20,25,28.

Now it's time for 14.1 man to post his and for Bill to sneak in at the stroke of Midnight with his.

I couldn't try a run yesterday because I had a show in New Mexico. I flew in today and went and tried for a while and had runs of 22,24,28.28 and 30. I missed a few ball in hand break shots and had a few 1 rack type runs. Not my day but I will post the 30 anyway.......

Thanks Bill. I did not think my 76 would hold up. Sorry that you did not put together any good runs this weekend like you always do. You just posted an 80 ball run a week ago. It just shows everyone here how honest you are. Some players would of held onto that run for the weekend. Thanks.

Congrats! although having 14.1 in your name is an automatic disqualification under standardized world internet rules, so as the self-appointed governing body of internet video standards I will be receiving your green square AND your high run record. Sorry for the judgement, I'm only following the rules.

I put a half hour or so towards it on Saturday (I was very limited on time this weekend) and managed to run a rushed 28 (complete with a patented off the stack break ball) - but that was about as exciting as my weekend got.

Congratulations, Mike! I was able to watch the first 3 racks, and it looks as if you are still shooting very well!

That is the wrong video. Some how it down loaded my 82 ball run again.
I do not know what I did wrong. I titled it 76 ball run but viewing it back, it is showing the 82 ball run. I will delete it and start over.

the dash man wins again! argggg!! my illness and debilitating injuries weren't worthy enough to stay home and play poo....errr.....relax and recover. I commend you for your rightful high run, I felt like I had a 130 in me this weekend, but you are the better man again.

nice shot three shots in to get your cue ball into the balls around the rack. Not too hard just bump a little. No real problems. I kind of thought the 6 might be a key ball for your break shot but you had to take it off, I guess when you went up table a little. Too bad you could not get on the rail earlier and get that nine ball out of there. It was tough to have to use that as a key ball. You had to work to get on it and then very good cue ball control to get on your break ball off of it.

Nice cut on the break ball. The rack exploded, not many problems. Your cue ball went all the way into the kitchen but a couple of stripes decided to keep you company. The nine ball looked like your only problem and you bumped into it before long but then the balls lined up a little funny and you had to work around them. You had two possible break shots at the end which is always nice. You just got a little flat on the break shot.

You almost got good on the second ball in the last rack but that is so tough to get on that kind of shot right.

Thanks for posting it up. I am gonna see what I can do to get a video camera in the next month or two. I love watching each of your videos, it really helps me think through a rack.

I am happy with my new high run, but more so now that I can make it into the second rack with regularity and almost to the third rack. I am gonna try some runs later today on my Diamond and see if that makes things any easier than my table at home.
