HOF cue

This is a cue I built for 3-time world champ & BCA hall of famer, Ray Martin. It's Indian rosewood forearm/butt with eight points kam-phi rosewood & eight reverse butterfly scallops kam-phi rosewood. Nice matching rings & phenolic collars. The wrap is matching color gator/lizard textured leather. He wanted "grippy leather" so I initially was going to use ostrich but it was too friggin ugly. I was excited when he called me for a cue, and hopefully I meet his expectations. I'm making him get a picture with the cue for me  The guy is such a gentleman. I hope to meet him personally some day. Just thought i'd share pics with everyone.

Eric, your work just knocks my crack crooked... EVERY time. Great stuff.

Could you provide some of the specs for this cue? Or is that private. (don't mean to be nosey)

Much nicer

Eric, once again...it is much more profound than words can describe!!!

I cannot wait to see what else you have coming out!!!

Big Stuff

When your a cuemaker and you get a call from a world champion and hall of famer you know you've arrived. Your stuff is special Eric, and the world is becoming aware. Keep up the good work!!!.

Thanks much for the kind words :) It was an exciting cue for me to build.

Sorry, can't give specs. It's a secret ;) Not really. It's 19oz with 13mm shafts, forward tilted balance & triangle tips. Nothing unordinary.

Oh man, this cue looks great! The wrap totally compliments the cue, giving it an old rustic look...lovely!

Those don't look like super pro or sumo tips. what kind did you end up using?

He asked for Triangles. Says he's used them for years & loves them. These are not exactly "out of the box", though. They were "prepped" before installation. The cue plays & feels wonderful. I'm happy with it. I sure hope he is, too.

Eric,

another sweet looking Player.

Its not surprising that the TOP-Players are getting notice of your Cues.

It was just a question of time and i am sure more will follow up that road.

Congrats to you Brother and also to Ray Martin.

Take care.

Berny

Beautiful cue Eric, but is the wrap "grippy" enough?
I want a "grippy" leather wrap too.

Pretty grippy. The only thing with more texture than this is ostrich, and it's just too ugly, IMO.

Damn talking taking cuemaking to the next step! Keep up the great work Eric. You have come along way since I first heard about your cues 4 years agon on Easy Pool Tutor. Congrats!:D
