Hoppe Twins

I really like the old school hoppe cues, so check these out. One is by Tascarella, one by Ariel Carmeli using a John Davis blank. Both have four ebony points into straight-grained maple forearms with four veneers, smooth black leather wraps, and ivory hoppe rings with bumperless butt caps and ivory ferrules. The only difference is that the Tasc is a piloted 5/16x14 joint and the Carmeli is a sleeved steel over flat faced wood to wood joint with 3/8x10 steel pin. Both of these cues play fantastic!

Enjoy-

John Davis makes an unbelievable blank
Two of the greatest craftsman in the world, side by side, and they say it's just a game :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the comments. These are beautiful cues, and the Tascarella is my daily player. Been using it exclusively since I got it. I just love the way it feels in my hand and strikes the cueball.

I think an ultimate would be a combination of the two:

A Tascarella completed John Davis blank...

Up there as one of my dream cues...

(Ariel makes a very fine cue and no disrespect to him is intended!)
