How about this action challenge

Yawn !

Other noteable mentions would have to be Dennis Hatch and Larry Nevel. They both play pretty good for the cheese too.

Southpaw

These two wouldn't stand a chance.... Earl would pound them ! LOL

I'm curious as to why nobody seems to think Peach would be a good matchup. The guy just won a tournament with all of the top players in the world, and I wouldn't be surprised if ppv sales were high in Britain.

Players worthy to play Shane:

Johnny Archer
Rodney Morris
Francisco Bustamante
Dennis Orcollo
Ralf Souquet
Thorsten Hohmann
Chin Shun Yang
Fong Pang Chao

(I've omitted Alcano due to his legal issues)

Pick someone from that list and I'll watch the next AC. If the game is going to be 10 ball, I want one of the above opponents. If it's 9-ball, that makes it a different ballgame.
?????? SVB is probably the best 10ball palyer in the world.. In a short race, sure someone COULD beat him, but race to 50 or 100 and NO CNANCE. Why take someone else in 10 ball and him in 9? I would think it would be the other way around. Have you been watching him destroy Earl this weekend in 10ball. I say SVB against the world in 10ball and I know who i take every day of the week and twice on sunday.

I'm curious as to how bad people on here think Larry Nevel plays. Saying he needs weight from Shane really is a joke. Larry has asked Shane to play in the past and Shane has turned him down...more than once. So how is it that you guys say Larry needs weight but Shane isn't playing him even? Hmm, maybe people actually involved in the game would know a little more then the majority of people on here. Just a thought!

Here's a little question to test the knowledge of people on here. How does Larry play one-pocket against Cliff? And how much weight is Archer willing to give up to Larry? I'll be amazed if anyone gets these questions right. Of course, maybe they are just opinion questions, or maybe I've heard the people involved talking about these games so I know what's really out there.

If Larry and Shane ever play then I will place a little $1000 sweat bet with you since you think he doesnt need any weight.

well for 1 cliff cant spot larry playing 1 hole and win.larry will destroy cliff playing even. archer maybe giving the 8.

you actually think that Larry can beat Cliff playing even 1-pocket? I want some of what you've been smoking. It must be some good shit.

You've got the Cliff part right.

What do you think Larry's speed really is? I'm guessing you think he's playing 10-7 under Cliff or so huh? What do you think he needs to play Shane some? The 8 playing 10-ball?

Larry needs weight playing cliff 1 hole. not sure how much but playing even or 9-8 is out of the question. As far as playing shane 10 ball, shane could comfortably give him 15 on the wire going to 100

Ok, let's not base everything on the action challenge now. Say Shane and Larry were just gonna play some races to 15, or some ahead sets, what's Shane giving up then?

In 10 ball? 9 and the last 2 . But Any time ive seen Larry at a tourny, which hes a great player and a nice guy, instead of gambling hes doing this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWtyPrgn2VA

That's because Larry doesn't get action very often. It's not that he doesn't try, it just doesn't happen. In the last six months I can think of two times Larry has actually gotten a game setup and something didn't fall apart before it could happen. He played Ryan McCreesh in Maryland and Clint McCoullough in Georgia. There are other games on the table but they just aren't happening for one reason or another.

I didnt say anything about him needing anything. You said he would play them even, your words. I just said that anybody that thinks Larry Nevel can beat Cliff at one pocket or Shane at ten ball playing even can probably double their net worth off me.
