How do I use the pythagorean theorem to pocket balls?

The only system you will ever need.....

I'm confused. Is it really necessary to yell "put it in the hole" before every shot? I asked one of the top players in our room, Tuco Ramirez, and he said "When it's time to shoot, shoot, don't talk." So what's right? Is there a book?

Also, I noticed that sometimes you guys point the stick directly through the white ball at the center of the colored ball, but at other times to the right or the left side of the colored ball. However, in the other aiming threads, some very good players say that you can point at the same spot on the other ball for many, many shots. This seems a lot easier. I asked Tuco about it, and he explained that people are always trying to impress by complicating things. In his words "...but these poolhall Edison's couldn't screw in a light bulb to save their lives."

I can't knock your results, but I'm wondering who to believe?

When in doubt always believe the man with the gun!!

The man with the gun is always right. That would be Kay (my wife) backing me up. You don't want to mess with her either.

Several of my friends from south of the border were at this Cinco DeMayo party and they too brought their 30-30s. It was a heckuva party with lots of "right" men and many gunshots as in days of old.

Well, you can point at whatever spot you want. If its going in the hole, youre doing it right, if its not going in the hole, you did it wrong. (thats a patented test btw). Please dont confuse this with putting it in the wrong hole, thats a mistake that happens from time to time, but you usually hear about it pretty quickly.
Thanks

Advanced P.I.I.T.H. will be coming out soon!

The dean of our engineering school said that it is easy to tell a physicist from an engineer. When told they could make successive jumps half way to a beautiful naked woman at the end of a hall the physicist mused you could never get there. The engineer immediately jumped.

Perhaps that is why there are so many engineers who play pool.
