How do you clean Tiger X ferrule?

You must have an older X shaft with the linen base ferrule...the newer ones have Saber T and it stays very clean. I'd contact Tiger & see about an upgrade.

Try some Fast Orange porous hand cleaner or like Varney said get a Saber-T.
I have a new Tiger X shaft with a Saber-T ferrule and it's super easy to keep clean.

I don't know what kind of material they use, but I use the magic Eraser to clean all mine, but they are not Tiger shafts. You may want to ask Cory, he will know.
The best product I have found for cleaning ferrules and shafts is "Magic Eraser" http://www.mrclean.com/sites/en_US/mrclean/products/eraser.shtml
It works like no other product to remove chalk deposits without harming anything and only a couple dollars a box at any supermarket. You just dampen a small piece a little scrub lightly then wipe with a dry paper towel and presto..... everything is as new

I'll go out on a limb here and say the Saber T is not linen based. It has no linen weave and smells different when cutting. Not sure of the material....its probably a big Tiger secret. I'm guessing but I believe it is a material very similar to what the dental industry uses to make false teeth. When you are cutting the material you get that exact same familiar smell as when you are in the dentist chair & getting a bit of drilling done.inthezone said:

Your ferrule is made of Ivorene III. Though that material has a great soft feel, the quality of available Ivorene III had dwindled over the years (way too pourous).
That is what instigated us to come up with something better. Saber-T is the answer and was 1 1/2 years in its development.
