How do you go about suing a cue builder? Just want to get my cue back.

I know, it kind of sucks, doesn't it? Seems as tho this guy got scammed, can you believe it? And I bet that cue guy has a great reputation amongst people he's done business with in the past, too....so strange.

Well most people who were or are in business, get shafted at some point.

I can think 4 or 5 times, one was dishonest agent who was not paying, or paying less then they should have. One was editor who just stiffEd me totally. Other were just slow pay that we’re talking advantage of everyone who worked for em.

This Cue thing is not cool.

you're right, being scammed on a cue deal is definitely not cool

I am guessing his last name starts with S?

I filed a police report once with the local sherrif's department, didn't change much. So I too had to resort to flying over and surprising him. Got my cues back and he did at least some of the work I wanted done.
Yup... Sounds like the cue maker I had an issue with "S"...

Put him in a jail cell.... give him all of his equipment and all of the cues he has to work on for customers... then tell him he's not getting out until they are ALL done. Dont think it would take long.

So what dean did was ok but this is different, right?? You really are delusional.

Yeah... its sad... the pronouns "he" and "she" are damn near forbidden now.
No one’s forbidding the use of these terms. It’s a preference. Either you have no issue respecting the preference of a fellow human being or you’re intolerant to a victimless request.

Why should common curtesy be abandoned over opinion?

Are you this angry when people prefer to be called by their middle name or nickname?

Some people like to be called Bubba, Zeke, Plato, Hulk, Vin Diesel, Madonna?

What’s the difference. Nothing inherently bad with a preference to how you want to be addressed.

The outrage isn’t pronouns, it’s lifestyle and diversity.

I have an employee named Yvonne. She prefers Evon. So what? Got no problem with that. Happy to show the curtesy.

Got another employee named Shaquille. Named after the basketball player. He’s 5’2” 140 pounds. Everyone asks him about his name. Makes him feel uncomfortable because he knows nothing about basketball and makes him think about losing his dad at an earlier age. Prefers to be called William.

Why wouldn’t I be happy to make him more comfortable and refer to him how he wants to be referred to?

You sure do.

The thing is that you're both right. He even agreed that in principle you're correct. But how something is interpreted matters especially if its evolved into an accepted expression. So you can't dismiss that, even if you don't agree with it. Its become accepted.

IE seeing a cue you like and saying "that's sick". Are you pissed that the cue doesn't have covid?
Lazy is lazy.

I understand it doesn’t bother you, because well, you’re lazy.

If you actually read and understood that my post is about grammar, you would also understand that “that’s sick“ is grammatically correct.

What makes you think I'm angry about anything?

What else do you know about me from my short statement?

We don’t live in a world of absolutes. We don’t live in a world that solely reflects one definition end all be all. We live in a fluid ever changing and evolving world. Slang and slogans, humor and double meanings are a way of life. Pretty cool huh. That’s neat or interesting. Not temperature. Since you don’t get it.

The slogan evolved and the interpretation changed.

It’s a social construct. Not solely about grammar.

So I’m happy to agree that you’re both right and you’re partially correct.

But we can resort to insults if you want. I’m always game when you nutters start screaming at clouds.

If you have no issue with evolving pronouns and respecting the wishes of others I’ll happily retract and apologize for the misinterpretation. It read as though you had an issue with it.

I love when some fat boomer calls people "lazy"

Piss off snowflake. I COULDNT CARE LESS what you think. Did I use that phrase correctly?

Oh so you’re the unhinged intolerant cloud screamer I thought you were.

I like it when I’m right.
No. I dont need a "woke" lesson. Science says if you are born a male, you are a male... no matter how identify yourself. Same is if I identify as black, doesn't make me black. Go ahead and call me racist now. Another word that has little meaning these days.

Dismissing racism as wokeness. Never seen you people do that before. 🙄. I’m anti-woke btw. But I am a supporter of an individuals right to be who they are without intolerant bigots trivializing their existence.

Actually what you’re erroneously suggesting isn’t what scientist say. You clearly don’t know the difference between sexual identity and sexual orientation. But I don’t expect you people to consider science and the evolving nature of how science actually works. You prefer to live in ignorance.

Sexual differentiation of the genitals takes place before sexual differentiation of the brain, making it possible that they are not always congruent. Structural and functional differences of hypothalamic nuclei and other brain areas differ in relation to sexual identity and sexual orientation, indicating that these traits develop independently

“Running like a bat out of hell” is grammatically correct.

Common usage notwithstanding, saying that you “could care less” when you’re trying to express a lack of concern, is not.

Again, not the end of the world, but laziness in general annoys me. Sadly, I find myself annoyed a lot. 😂😂
Should "notwithstanding" be hyphenated?
