At 29:48 he hits the 3rd diamond & the 2 ball still goes? How is that possible? Does the right spin on the cueball put left spin on the 2 ball & help it go? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fERH4-KxPXA
Do you mean he hit the rail? I don't see it.
It was a very shallow hit on the rail with assisting spin and brand new cloth. New cloth slides a lot more, so the rail couldn't really grab the ball.
6 weeks of play later, that shot won't go unless he hits it a lot softer.
"get in" and "assisting" are us saying the same thing. On broken in cloth and rails, that speed doesn't want to ride anything, it drives off the facing once the table is seasoned, in my experience. Two other factors, IMO.
The speed at that angle makes the ball want to ride DOWN the rail.
The right hand english on the cue ball becomes 'get in' english on the object ball.
"cheats the pocket" at the 3rd diamond? If I hit the 3rd diamond I'm banking it cross corner.Plus, jayson's aim is far more precise than the average bear's...meaning that if he cheats a pocket, the hit point is more specific than us hacks can plan on.
But I will agree with those prior...new cloth, shallow angle and a good bit of corkscrew allowed that ball to go.
Wow Alex totally shanked the 9/ and gave the match away
And that's why everyone should shoot all balls.

Exactly, I'd never concede
