this is junk Lumber it's not worth anything to me....i Left you a voice mail on your phone asking you to call me it's about returning the shafts for a refund i got know responce.i have 13 bad shafts out of 25 that will never be used on any of my cues so keep the money it Looks like you need it more then i do.... i will bandsaw them for coring dowels...my Last post in this thread. it was $ 13.00 dollars each that's what i paid.

if you want to roll the dice and get some ungraded dowwels at least do it for the right price http://www.atlasdowel.com/pages/contact/ these guys supply alot of pool cue companies and its 100 dowells for 269.00 (if i remember right) this way if you get bad woood or coring wood it wont hurt so bad. seems like you will get the same stuff this geoff character sells.

And yes, he is correct, he returned 24 shaft blanks to me, there is NO WAY he should have returned 22 of those 24, and the other 2 were only bad because he ran in to a small mineral spot after cutting the dowel he bought from 1" to a 900-750 taper. If you think that you are going to get 100% perfect shaft wood from any supplier you are kidding yourself! So, if you run into a small mineral mark after cutting it from a 1" Dowel to a 900-750 taper that's part of buying wood.

There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with the melamine ferrules he bought. They weren't the color he likes so he accused me of selling something that wasn't a melamine ferrule, told me they are grice, or something else, I forget what exactly he accused me of selling as melamine. So I very cordially told him to send them back and I would gladly give him a refund I still don't have any ferrules returned.

Here are 5 pieces I got. I sent them and 9 others back. Keeping 2 that meet the decription in the add. I returned 14 pieces. Geoff was nice enough to send 16 replacement dowells. 6 of those will make shafts, not great shafts. For my money and trouble. I may get 8 useable shafts and 10 coring dowells. Will not be a repeat customer!

I already posted I don't care to send back the others. You want me to spend my time taking pictures of the duds, just like you wanted me to turn the duds? If you spent as much time looking at what you are grading and sending out what you advertise, then this wouldn't be an issue.

Shaft 10 ring count? It had 11 gpi to be generous. I tried to enhance the end and that make is at 1.007 with the max lines included to be nice.
I stopped at 10 and had 15 or so that I found laying(literally)around. This doesn't take into consideration any of the ones I hung and probably won't make it. I am done taking pics. I think the point is already made.

Hey Larry, why don't you take a picture of the wood that I replaced your wood with. Not a picture of what you sent back, who cares about what you sent back, you didn't have to keep that wood, it was replaced so why is that even relevant? OH, it's not ? Yeah, I thought so.
So, lets see the grain on the dowels that you received as replacements. If you have enough integrity to take pictures of the actual wood you received.
