How long do you wait on an Ebay buyer?

It has been ten days since I sold a new 3x6 Dennis Swift case on Ebay. I have heard nothing from the buyer as of yet. This is aggrevating. How long do I wait until I go through selling the case again. The buyer had like 98% good feedback. Also, if I leave bad feedback I am sure he will too and I have nothing to deserve it. I have sent three emails with no response back.

Appreciate advice from others with past experiences similar to this.

Thanks,
Jimmy

file a claim dispute to get ur listing and selling fees back then put it back up for sale. leave a negative feedback on the 90th day, like 1 minute before it expires, after 90 days u can no longer leave a feedback, so if u time it right, u can leave negative feedback right before the chance expires. when he realizes it, he cant leave negative for u cuz it'd be too late.

99.4% to be exact

Have sent the buyer an invoice? He's got 99.4% positive feedback on a whole lot of purchases, some for good $. You can also contact Ebay and get his phone number. I'd work on getting in touch with him before leaving negative feedback.

How close was the second bidder?

If it was close, I would offer it as a "second chance" before going through the hassle of contacting ebay or relisting.

I wait 7 days then file the non paying bidder thru Ebay and offer it thru the second chance offer to the next bidder or I relist.

I agree with what you say. I do a tremendous amount of deals (high end, cases, etc) and always try very hard to make things go smoothly. I have tried to contact him with no luck. Believe me the last thing I want to do is leave negetive feedback or have a deal where both parties don't end up satisfied.

File a "non-paying bidder" dispute NOW ...

For your own protection, file that dispute Now and in 7 days eBay will refund your Final Value Fee (they DO NOT refund listing fees) for this auction and once they rule in YOUR favor, the non-paying Bidder CANNOT post feedback for you ... THEN, you may want to either offer it to the next high bidder or just re-list it ... Posting Negative Feedback should be your last resort ... It can bite-you-in-the-ass when a Buyer leaves it for You ... As a rule-of-thumb, when I BUY something on eBay, I post feedback after the item arrives and I am satisfied with my purchase ... When I SELL something, I post Feedback after the Buyer has received the item, is satisfied, and posts Feedback for me ... I have (4) eBay accounts (since 1998) and have bought and sold over 350 High-End Cues with only one Negative Feedback from a total Retard who had "Buyer's Remorse" almost two full days after receiving the Cue ... Good Luck to you ...

Although no refund of listing fees, I do believe you get a free relist.:)
Have you tried to request a phone# from Ebay.

if absolutely no contact has been made by the buyer,i wait 7 days before i file a non-paying bidder form.i always leav neg. feedback for something like that, but most people don't.i have 4 negatives out of like 95 transactions and all were purely retaliatory, and unwarranted, but i feel that if people take the time to read all the feedbacks they can tell what's up.it is not a very good system they have, but i eill leave a neg. if they deserve it.

Fee Refund ....

When you re-list an unpaid item, eBay with refund the re-list fee IF IT SELLS the second time.

Good Advice ...

Always list a timeframe for payment too...like payment is due in three days...etc. ;)

I always state in my listing that "Payment must be received within (7) business days of auctions end". ..... However, I still get a few schleppes who cannot read ...

Well, it looks as if the guy is going to dog me out of my money. Don't you just love Ebay? So the case will going back up. Call me if you're interested. Brand new 3x6 swift. Believe me, the price is going to be negotiable.

Thanks,
Jimmy

if you go by feedback, then you have to assume something's up, like he might be out of town or not checking his email,,,,or

I agree. From his feedback, I thought it was going be a solid deal. After 12 days though, I think he has had plenty of time.

I have tried several times. I am going to go ahead and sell the case.
