Basically, I am just curious how many people on AZ have $1,000 they would invest in a business opportunity or stocks that are pool related?

Yes

I would have to see the business plan and the masterminds behind it first.

That being said yes I would be willing to invest in a pool related venture.

This always amazes me about polls. (At this time)

there were 24 Looky-looks but only 50% (12) people took the time (1 second) to answer the poll question.

Come on, hard hard can it be. Yes or No

Some of the views were from people who have already voted I am sure because after I voted I came back to read what other people wrote a couple times.

Mike,

Do you really think a poll in a pool forum is anywhere near an accurate portrayal of 'investors'?

I really thought you were smarter than that.

If I wanted to invest $1000 in a business venture I would at least have to know more than just it is 'pool related'

And, whining about the lookers versus the voters, is a very childish way of trying to get more people to vote.

Other than that, I think the Viking tour is just great.

It would depend on the return on investment and associated risks as compared to other investment opportunities.

I have $1K that could be considered for any investment opportunity really. Being pool related would just be a bonus I guess.

It's a two-part question. Therefore my answer(s) would be yes, then no. I punched the "no" option.

Had to vote no

Simple fact is that the odds are that I wouldn't invest a thousand or more in someone else's venture. Being pool related makes the odds worse than normal. I don't have a thousand I want to put down a bottomless pit and so far that is all I have seen most pool ventures offer investors. If it were a venture to build pool tables and recreational game equipment, I'd say maybe; a venture into the sport of pool, unlikely. The hard truth is that I am not going to make a thousand dollar investment into the sport of pool and give someone else control of that thousand.

I would bet a thousand that half of the people that vote yes in this poll won't produce a thousand when the time comes to put up the dollars though.

I'm busted right now so I voted no. But with some advance I would swing a g at anything including roulette and craps.

I voted "no". I have a Pavlovian reflex, I hear $1000.00 and pool mentioned at the same time and I think "scam".

I would invest in My Local Area ...

I am a hands-on investor and would have to be close to the action, which would have to be near Sacramento or Las Vegas ...

I voted NO, but I DO have the money to invest ...

Mike is solid pool is the problem

invest

I'm always looking for opportunity. However, I must understand how my monies will be invested and what type of return I could realize. If the investment is simply hosting a tour event where I am compensated with product I can get for half the money, I've been there done that.

We are hosting an APA Top Gun tournament this weekend at no cost to me.
Expecting around 60 to 80 players. One day event and most players will eat and drink and at least three people will buy a cue. No middle man, so both I, and the players will benefit.

How will your idea specifically benefit my operation?
