How many bans are we allowed

Yes Mr. Bondman, I have been banned twice, for 3 months each time...The first one, I believe, was for getting on one of
Mr. Wilson's delicate nerves ?...I appealed to Mike Howerton, and he graciously gave me a "get out of jail early card".
..The second time was for, get this, making "abusive posts"! :confused:

There are only 2 or 3 people on this forum, I would ever think about making disparaging remarks to (or about)..And in NO instance, have I ever engaged in 'name calling' or 'profanity' with them ! (unless of course, calling someone a "gosh darn idiot"...is considered highly 'abusive'.) :rolleyes:

I have been told, I have a "Don Rickles" style of sarcastic humor..However, I am firmly convinced, that forum moderators on ALL pool forum's, must first pass some sort of 'Zero sense of humor test' in order to qualify for their lofty positions of (often abused) power !..But, then I guess that's why Rickles made the 'big bucks' !..He only insulted important people, like Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin !..He never picked on nobody's, like John Barton, CJ Wiley, or Mr. 3cushion ! :embarrassed2: :p

Mike Howerton also gave me a second chance. I hope he understand that I appreciated the lifting of mf my lifetime ban. In my case my initial ban was for inferring that a poster was a POS, which I can agree was a bit harsh. But that same poster had just used the same term to describe some who was then in the news. I also posted some facts about another poster in an attempt to show why a person living in a glass house should not throw stones.

I spoke to a good friend of mine recently. He told me he knew you and that you are a great player. I am referring to Bob Ogburn. I lived in Phoenix for years in the in the mid 1970's. I was always at the Golden 8 and Golden Cue. I am trying to figure why I don't personally know you. I was a good friend with Rudy. Back then I was a young black guy. I am still black but a lot older now.

AZ is pretty Liberal in the sense that one can say exactly what is on their mind in most cases.

As long as you don't suggest, wish, or directly threaten another members well being, by including the words, Die, death, knife, gun or bullets in a post, yer pretty much ok with calling them as you see them.

That and name calling isn't that cool. As in, if yer arguing, I mean, Debating with someone and you say, Die FK Wad, I wish that I could pump some bullets into you, chances are you be getting a Ban.

Hey, I just noticed that you are still a member of the Lock Society. I didn't know that they were still around. I kinda miss the Prez Lock a bit. I hope that he is doing ok. Should get an update on him so we know.

If you get bored, you can always join the DB Club. We're few but proud and we don't get banned.

And, unless you work directly for JB Cases, you could have the courtesy to reduce the size of your JB Advert to something a little smaller.

If every member posted a large picture and link to their favorite web site or product, pool related or not, this place would be shit in one day.

Thats just plain rude.

Yes Dick you humor is like that of Don Rickles, but you are correct you never made it like Don did doing standup, or movies for the big bucks. You are what they call "bush" or bush league player.
