When I got on I think Shane had already in his mind conceded the match. Still good stuff and glad to see it.

Just wonder how gracious Earl would have been if he lost. He claimed to love Shane to death, if he would have lost he would have probably been ready to kill him.

Hmmmm

Only 2 out of 70 pollsters had negative vote in poll. Actually, I'm surprised the negative votes were that low.

You know there are more than a few folks that would play Jesus Christ himself in a league match, lose and then call JC a freaking sandbagger !!

So, this is gotta be even better than expected. Great match !!

I couldn't even watch the feed, because my computer will not stream smoothly...it's a couple seconds and stop, a couple seconds and stop. Anybody offer any suggestions as to how to "fix" this. One friend told me it was because I was trying to watch streaming through AOL...so I switched to IE. That worked for a while, but now I am back to the same problems...which don't allow me to watch these streamed matches. Help anyone?

If I understand via your email address and such you are actually connecting to AOHELL to reach the internet.

If this is correct please do the following...

STOP Using AOHELL to access the internet

The equivalent would be trying to play pool....using a a toothpick

As I would listen to your advice playing pool based on your experience and expertise....I fix computers for a living and have since....well a long time...

Let me know if I am wrong about my assumption...

Talked to Diamond today and they are planning within the next year or so to make a 10 footer. I will get one of their first, God willing and the creek doesn't rise.

The stream was super. The only thing I'd change would have been to have some professional commentators. No offense to Justin and Beav, but they basically had a BS session

going on. If they had had Billy Incardona and Danny DiLiberto doing the commentary, it would have been twice as good. Frankly, the first day was the best because Justin just

kept quiet most of the time instead of trying to fill the airwaves with talk that didn't give any insight to the show. Justin and Beav (who I think are nice, personable guys) were

more like DJ's, talking to the people in the chat and trying to entertain which kind of reminded me of the "Bob & Tom Show' with less comedy. Justin, Please don't take this the

wrong way, I'm just offering honest constructive criticism and I REALLY like the challenge match scenario you're doing with TAR. I know that top notch professional commentators

don't come cheap and doing the free streaming you couldn't possibly afford to use such commentary, but on the big events that are PPV, I think you should consider it. That

would take TAR to the next level and really give the PPV customers their moneys worth. Again, PLEASE take this in the spirit it's given. I loved the stream but I just think it could

have been much better with professional commentary. I also think it would make the DVD's a better product and sell more due to the information and insight the pro's would

have given it. I still gave it the highest ranking in the poll, just think it could have been improved on.

PoolSharkAllen...Yeah, there's still a few million of us out there! I do have a broadband connection (Sprint Air Card). I'm not sure how much RAM I have, but the computer (Dell Inspiron 1545) is a year and a half old, so it is fairly new. I'll try what you suggested. Thank you!

I didn't realize that people still use AOL. :yikes: :bash:

Without knowing anything about your computer and how it's configured, my first guess is that you may not have enough memory (RAM) on your computer, especially if you have multiple applications running at the same time. Buying some addtional RAM may help here. When streaming, you may want to close down your other applications. Rebooting your computer beforehand may free up some resources too. You could try using Firefox (www.mozilla.org) instead of IE. If you're using a slow connection, it may be time to upgrade to a much faster broadband connection.

RShellhouse...Well, I have used AOL as my ISP for 20 years. Lately I've been using IE newest version, without going through AOL (ino, AOL is not "on" at all). So, based on your experience, why doesn't the stream run smooth, if I'm not accessing aol at all?

Scott can you watch other videos from youtube or any other steam without the pausing?

I enjoyed it and the video quality seemed improved quite a bit over the last tar I watched, I think 17 or so.

Scott: The ISP doesn't matter as long as it's high speed cable/dsl. I know AOL offers that but if you're stuck on AOL dialup, the connection is just too slow to download streaming video. There is no setting or browser or tweak you can use to fix that. If you use the internet a lot and want to enjoy these tar matches, consider making the switch. It costs more but it's worth it.
