How much did your playing cue cost?

Cuetec

I had used a $300 Viking for 3 years then switched to a $136 R-360 Cuetec. The Viking is collecting dust for a few years now. Johnnyt

It's interesting you prefer the Cuetec. I have a dear friend who will play with nothing but Cuetec cues. But most people I know dislike them, whether they've ever played with one or not. I've used their break cue and liked it, but never tried one of their playing cues. Would you mind telling me a little about why you like their R-360 cue? It's supposed to have some LD properties to it, right? Please feel free to PM me if you'd prefer.

$500-Diveney ebony hustler with old growth shaft.

$350-Jacoby ebony hustler plus another $150 for a ringtail leather wrap.

Almost forgot, both have hoppe rings that help me make at least 3 extra balls per game!

I spent about $350 on my first Schon and liked it so much I bought another one for $650 (like, or it pissed off the ex, either way is fine.)
$350 on the break cue

$2200 for my Scruggs (sometimes I shoot with my Philippi and it was around $1700)

$200 for my Sly J/B. It was second-hand and it's pretty rare.

Custom Pechauer with Predator 314-2, $450 + $200 = $650
Pechauer Break - $270
Pechauer Jump - $150

Total for 3 cues = $1070

In 1972 I designed and ordered a Joss BEM plain jane with an ivory joint, 14mm ivory ferrule, a courtland wrap, a TAD style dashed ring at the buttcap and the delrin buttcap 2" long. It cost $75.00 and I still use it most every evening.

My new player is a Dan Westin I picked up on AZ last week. I traded $100 and a Fellini I picked up at the pawn shop for $10. Considering I had just sold a cue and made $500 on it, then did the trade, it almost feels like I got paid to own the cue.
